Coming off a hectic year, we booked a few days at this hotel. It was very pleasant. The hosts were so nice, and gave us a lot of good suggestions for places to eat, etc. Seems like they had a back story for every restaurant in the town! The hotel is very clean. Our room had a balcony facing the water--we spent a lot of time there; it was just so pleasant, with the blue Aegean below and a light breeze blowing. The beach is pebbly and the water clear and fresh, very nice for swimming. The hotel has lounge chairs and umbrellas on the beach you can use, and they will lend you beach towels too.
The buffet breakfast is good, with breads, fruit, eggs, pancakes, and good coffee/tea.
If you are looking for big city life, this is not the place for you. The town is small, though there is a small store and many restaurants. Everything is right on the water, so you can eat dinner while watching the sun set. It's quiet and peaceful. This is really what we wantedwe , and had fun with the beach, with birdwatching in the marshes near Polichnitos (flamingos and many other water birds, if you're into that) and just driving along the bay to see the coastal towns.
There was wifi, and the hotel had all the modern conveniences. Shower could have been a little better, but really everything...Coming off a hectic year, we booked a few days at this hotel.
