Since first visit which was disappointing - we now have a restaurant that has evolved and matured .
The menu has been refined and seriously worked on. In this part of France it is rare to find such sophistication and it came as a real surprise to find a menu without the standard "confit" or "entrecote" - .... This place is now quite uplifting and restores the belief that good food does not have to cost an arm and a leg .
We will certainly be back with friends soon !
Congratulations on your perseverance to the chef and staff.

Have visited this restaurant on a number of occasions for both lunch and dinner and will do so again . Consistently delivers top drawer food at exceptionally reasonable prices. Lovely informal outdoor garden setting and well appointed indoor dining room for chillier evenings.. Food is both tasty and inventive and service and general atmosphere is friendly and welcoming.

Had an excellent lunch earlier today. The food is delicious and beautifully presented...a feast for,the eyes as well as the taste buds. Interesting mise en bouche too. The vegetarian options are equally delicious and varied. There is great attention to detail throughout. Good value, attractive surroundings and friendly service.

This restaurant, under an inventive female chef, is now one of the best places to eat in the area.
We went a couple of months ago and had the lunchtime menu du jour, which was excellent value and a little bit different from the usual local food. I think three courses cost 15 euros.
We finally managed to return in the evening to eat á la carte.
Service is friendly and efficient. Drinks came with little appetisers. The menu is limited, but there are meat, fish and vegetarian options. Food is freshly cooked and often uses local produce. We were served creamy amuse bouches with chorizo.
My starter of carpaccio of beef was delicious, as was a cooked mushroom starter. The
confit d'agneau was so tasty. Four of us shared two puddings ( as we'd not really got room for more) The deconstructed lemon meringue tart was our favourite - light, tangy and fresh tasting.
The drinks list includes many wines from this region.
The total bill for four, including aperitifs and a bottle of good red wine was 170 euros. We shall definitely be returning more often.

This restaurant is amazing. It's on the main road from mirepoix in the midi Pyrenees and looks like a pretty auberge but when you eat there you find a Michelin star quality ! Fantastic food which cost about £25 a head for three courses and wine. Service immaculate, settting modern and welcoming and food to die for. We found no publicity about this - please visit to support the talented chef. It's only open Friday and Saturday for dinner but Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday for lunch.
