We liked the fact that this wasn't a tourist trap and was well visited by the locals. We talked to one other couple who were visitors but all the rest seemed to be Irish. We had dinner and my husband said the salmon was lovely, the veg exactly right. I had to mention my lactose intolerance and they were willing to make some changes to ordinary items - usually the mashed potato - which could be changed to no dairy, otherwise the curry would have been the only choice. With the mash changed to chips, I had a very nice Irish stew with big chunks of beef rather than the lamb we'd had elsewhere. Very ample and satisfying. We'd been told there would be live music that evening, which was a Sunday, but as it turned out, that was incorrect, so we missed the music. They said the musician had been there the 4 previous evenings.
