My wife and I stayed here for 2 weeks between 5th September and 19th September. We found all the staff friendly and helpful. Our room ,199,was large and comfortable with air conditioning. There was a nice little verandah you could sit out on and the swimming pool, the pool bar and the taverna were about a 30 second walk away.Food at all meals was excellent and varied.I would not bother with the hotel bus to nearby Nea Moudania as it is a working Greek town with nothing really for tourists. For 5 Euros (return) you can take the public bus to the beautiful seaside town of Afitos. Our tour operator, Jet 2,ran 2 excellent trips to Thessalonika and Mount Athos ,both of which I highly recommend. For us the only drawback to this first class hotel were the large number of mosquitoes, take plenty insect repellent with you!

Room Tip: Best rooms are down near the swimming pool.

Visited porters beach as 2 couples , check in was quick , we stayed in double standard room 209 , very nice rooms with fridge , tv and hair dryer in the bath room , nice balcony where we got the sun around 6 ish which was lovely when we got back from beach and had a brew, cleaner came every day , pool is lovely has a pool bar and u can have ur dinner around the pool , food was lovely but was repetitive , drinks are good although only 3 cocktails available on all inclusive but they are strong , u can get large bottles of water from the bar for ur room free , beach is beautiful although little stones along the waters edge just take beach shoes save ur feet , entertainment is ok but nowt great but was laughable , there is nothing around this hotel except a bakery 2 mins away , u can pay €10 in taxi to next town for a meal out , we had a lovely relaxing Holliday and would return again one day x

Well we were slightly nervous looking at the reviews before we came. We arrived at lunch time paid for a safe, it wouldn't work and a quick call to reception and someone came within 5 minutes and fixed it, then a card for air con again within a couple of minutes someone was here. We were in room 222 perfect for being near the pool beach etc, lovely room with balcony, very clean and cleaned daily. Lovely food always a variety salads fish meats, chicken pork turkey veal, always tasty and fresh. Lovely waitress called ania i think, blonde very friendly. Bar staff really nice especially the pool bar. Towels can be obtained near the children's club. The animation team are friendly and always doing something from kids disco to bingo, aqua fit, water polo etc. Beach really lovely the sea is very calm, although i would advise sea shoes as its quite rocky getting in. Always sun beds we were getting to the pool/ beach around 10. We decided to catch a locals bus on the Saturday as the hotel bus doesnt run at weekends, we were told they come every 15 minutes and after waiting over an hour we gave up. However when leaving the hotel turn right two minutes walk leads you to a lovely coffee bar selling cakes pies etc, nice change.
All in all we had a lovely relaxing break, in a lovely friendly quiet hotel, we go home tomorrow but i would like to stay longer.

Based on some of the Trip Advisor reviews it was with some trepidation that my wife and I arrived at this hotel for a two week all inclusive Holiday

However our experience could not have been better
After reading bad reviews we were a little bit nervous about this break now. We can honestly say we were shocked at how anyone can give this hotel a bad review. grounds are lovely and well kept. The main pool is a nice size and there is also a smaller children's pool with slides. The beach is right on the edge of the complex epitomizing the Hotel slogan .where the green meets the blue'and the sunset is as good as anywhere in the world with stunning views of Mount Olympus. The entertainment team did a good job during the day but the nightly entertainment could maybe be looked at and reviewed I really cant fault this place at all, just be very aware and be prepared to be eaten by Mosquitos

Whilst the location was somewhat remote, but this to our minds added to the experience

The accommodation was spacious clean and well maintained with linen and towels changed daily, a minor problem with a window was fixed within an hour despite having reported it at 7.30pm

The food was plentiful, well cooked, well presented and varied we had no complaints

Certainly will place this hotel high on our list for a return visit next year

We have just returned from a week here.
The hotel and its location are perfect if you want to get away from it all. The grounds are well maintained and the food never ending. Book a room nearer the beach and you won't have so far to walk to the sea. Plenty of sun beds and excellent staff.
