We had drinks here one evening to watch the sunset. Great location for this and lovely seats overlooking the harbour. The staff are super nice and friendly and the cocktails are lush ! Also great mocktails for the kids.
with so many photos online about little Venice in Mykonos and this place, upon arrival to the island we decided to have an afternoon cocktail and enjoy the view. it was just 2-3 minutes from our hotel. but paying $39 US dollars for 2 cocktails was ..well, the most expensive drinks we have ever had anywhere, including NYC (also rather weak)
Visited Scarpa after an evening meal and found a table overlooking the bay. It was quite quiet when we first arrived around half 10 in the evening but soon filled up outside by 11pm. The drinks in Little Venice are all expensive and Scarpa is no exception with most costing around €16 for one. Having said that, I had a pina colada and honestly it was one of the best I've ever had. It arrived in tumbler type glass, garnished with watermelon, cantalope and pineapple (each a hefty slice). The drink itself was made with pureed fruit and ice and was very thick. It was almost like an iced smoothie texture and would easily have been enough to share with someone else as it was very filling.
We were walking through Little Venice looking for Petros (Peter) Pelican, Mykonos mascot when we found him at Scarpa Bar. With all the tourist taking pictures Peter, we asked for some drinks to enjoy this wonderful view and great weather while waiting for the crowd to die down. The staff was friendly after they finally realized we really did want drinks and were not just another group of freeloading tourists. The drinks were ice cold and pleasantly made so we could taste the different ingredients. Petro declined to drink with us but did allow us to get some photos of him. We look forward to our next visit to Scarpa even if Petros is not holding court.
This drinks bar is located right next to the sea in little Venice.
We enjoyed freshly squeezed orange juice and Greek coffee while taking a break on our morning walk.
The views are lovely from this spot.
