We have visited Costa Adeje twice before, and had passed this hotel and thought it looked lovely and so decided to book.
The hotel is in an excellent location, and we arrived late evening with lots of people and whilst enjoying our cava we were booked in. Initially we were given a room on 2nd floor overlooking the road, staff entrance and car park - not a great view - but the room itself was fine. Unfortunately we were woken several times during the night by the bins being emptied, and then again the following morning at 8am by hammering in an adjoining room. I visited the lovely short haired blonde lady on Reception (sorry forgotten her name) and explained the problem, and she immediately sorted us a room on the 9th floor which was perfect and we had no further issues and began to enjoy the rest of our 2 week holiday. Excellent customer service from this lady, and sorted with a smile - and this is what I will always associate with this hotel.
We thought of upgrading to privelge, but as we like to be out and about, we decided against it. The buffet restaurant had a lot of choice and we enjoyed the food, but we were not too keen on being allocated a specific table number - we prefer to decide ourselves each evening if we want to sit inside or outside. We tried the new restaurant - I enjoyed the "experience" but my husband was not too impressed and he left feeling hungry.
Alex's aqua aerobics were enjoyable each day, and he made us all laugh. All of the staff were pleasant and hard working - and are a real credit to the hotel.
The hotel has its own resident cat - "Chi Chi" which has been staying in the hotel grounds for over 5 years - that says it all really!!
