We rented a private apartment on the 1st floor, reception is entered from the road on level 5. It is not air conditioned but a fan was provided which helped sleeping. I believe some apartments are air conditioned. The cooker is pretty much inaccessible. Having a fridge freezer is a bonus over a hotel room. The photos on the website are accurate.
There are very few shops nearby or bars. Jade Stone restaurant is close and excellent quality if not slightly higher priced than most locally. Although further out of the buzz than we prefer a taxi rank outside reception and a bus stop at the top of the road 1.45€ to anywhere in Las Americas made it more accessible.
The apartment was very clean as was all of the complex. The pool was cool to say the least but again very clean and well kept.
It's too far out for our liking and without aircon not for us but otherwise difficult to fault.

We rented a private apartment which was well equipped and ideal for our requirements. As we went early September there was no problem with sun loungers as they were plentiful and nobody reserved them early. The restaurant on site is independent but very good and reasonably priced. There are lovely walks along the promenade - to the right to the peaceful area of La Caleta which is a fishing village or to the left for a bit more hustle and bustle! The Plaza Del Duque has to be visited as it is beautiful with a myriad of high end shops!! Further along the promenade you get to Fanabe which wasn't to our liking as it was very English. There are lots of entertainments there with English breakfasts galore and English football matches being shown. There are lovely eating areas there if you don't mind 'busy'. It is lovely to have the walks in the evening after dinner as you feel very safe even in the dark.
Altogether it was a great holiday with abundant sunshine. We'd definitely go back!!

Room tip: The majority of rooms have a sea view and balcony

We have just come back from Altamira we really liked the apartment. We had room 435 which faced the road going down to the beach we had sea view which was lovely. The room was spacious clean and had everything you could want including a washing machine. We had a large balcony with table and chairs. The beds are hard but I found them to be fine. Our TV had our 5 main channels on BBC1 etc. There isn't a lot of storage for your clothes. They reason I marked it down was for the fact the room had no air conditioning
and it was hit on a night I do think they need to install air con. The apartments are located in a quiet area which was great. There is a restaurant on site which we went to and we had a lovely meal with good service. They also have a sports bar. The gardens are beautiful everywhere was so clean. You have 2 keys 1 for your room and 1 for the gate which takes you to the beach and walkway which takes you to La Caleta or Fannabe.
Across the road is a supermarket and next to the supermarket is a Tavern we ate hear a couple of times good food at reasonable prices. There are others restaurants a short walk away. At the top of the street there is a bus stop you can get the 467 bus which goes as far as Costa Silentio. We used the bus a lot going to los Cristiano and las Americas 3euros for 2 people. Up by the bus stops is another supermarket and a little office for trips. We used them and they were good.
If I come back to Tenerife I would stay here again even with no air con. Just a little note also to say bin men come everyday apart from Sunday. You do get used to them though.

Booked here through an Agency. Was a Private Studio. A long time since visiting Tenerife but we were not disappointed. The studio was lovely, a home from home. And the VIEW from the Balcony was the BEST ever. First thing on arrival. AMAZING just to sit and overlook the complex and beach and beautiful Palm Trees. The hotel has 3 pools. Also a Restaurant which serves really good food. And a Sports Bar with the footie channels. The one thing that annoyed me was you had to ask for password for WiFi and then not good. And was a different one each day. Same all over island. On visiting Jack's bar across the road were charged a euro and was rubbish. The cafe by the main entrance to hotel you can get with no bother or password. The staff 2 girls are so friendly nothing too much trouble. We had a few full English breakfast here and they were to die for. The beach road was just down either a hill from the main entrance or by lift down 2 floors from the 4th floor where we were. Through a gate by the pool and your there. You can either walk to the right of the complex which leads to La Caleta with some great fish restaurants and a lovely harbour whilst eating. We walked here a few times but no further. The walk to left was to Los Cristionas and Playa de America's. We did walk as far as these resorts took a good hour maybe bit more stopping for sangria well earned refreshment on way. Playa fanabe is a newish resort with lots of eating places. I found these more touristy than Costa adeje. Costa adeje is a bit more select with a handful of restaurants. The beach is really nice smaller but I preferred it. We did have a lot of cloudy days which was disappointing but was March. The nights were cool so better for sleeping. You had the usual people going down early to reserve their loungers with towels on for most of the day. So no change there then. We would definitely go back to costa adeje if visit Tenerife again. A beautiful spot. Thank you!!

Stayed for a week in November. Great location and very good price. The apartment we stayed in wouldn't suit people if they want a new and contemporary feel; the decor is a little outdated and tired. That said, it was spotless and clean! The crockery was clean! The bedding was clean! The maids visited regularly. The communal areas and swimming poor were also the same. Kept very nice. The staff on reception were marvellous too, particular thanks to Pedro. The resort is clean and you're spoilt for choice with beautiful good at all different prices. You can splash the cash or dine on a budget!

Ideal for couples / couples with young children / older people...a peaceful resort. Would recommend and will stay here again.

Room tip: Request a sea view if you can :)
