Rooms are very opulent. Location is not the best as it is a very expensive taxi to either Foggia or Lucera. However this hotel must not be missed and I will be back again. I did not eat or drink of an evening at the hotel so cannot comment, but breakfast was normal Italian fayre.

I agree with the previous reviewer's 'weird' description. This should be an excellent hotel, but it most definitely is not, unless perhaps you are part of a convention group and are there to make use of the resort facilities. Our room on entry was very dark, gloomy and full of small flies (hundreds!). The shutters were difficult to master, and it was only on our second day that I saw how to open the French doors without letting in more flies. Our query about the flies at the front desk brought a response to the effect that I should use the little electronic device sitting on the desk in the room, but there was no accompanying instruction on how to use it. After 24 hours the device seemed to keep most (but certainly not all) of the flies at bay, but if this is a known problem why, oh why, was the device not plugged in permanently so I didn't have to spend the first hour fruitlessly slapping my soft slippers against the mirrors and windows where the flies congregated? Do they not understand the effect on guests? And why was daylight not pouring into the room on our arrival instead of heavy drapes drawn and a dreary room looking even drearier?
This hotel is isolated being equidistant between Foggia and Lucera, and if you don't want to drive after an evening glass of wine, it is necessary to eat on the premises. The food was good, but for some unknown reason they will not present a bill for inspection at the end of the meal, so many items have an unknown price because they are not on the brief menu. As it happens, the price was very reasonable, but one should not have to wait until checkout to discover this! The whole place seems set up for groups and conventions, and as independent travellers we felt as if they didn't quite know what to do with us.

this was a weird hotel. Clearly a lot of money has been spent on the build, and the swimming pool is a site to see, but the hotel in general is totally lacking in any atmosphere.
The rooms are unwelcoming, and sparse, and other than the pool, the hotel lacks any real ameneties (although I didn't use the spa).
Worst of all, the water in the bathroom was brown. Upon complaining, I was told that this was being resovled, but i go the impression, this was par for the course.

It is by far the best hotel in the area, and the facilities are good, it is also pretty cheap, but this does not make it a five star luxury.
The employes are friendly but not very helpful, the pool and the spa are only open during normal working hours or less, and this makes it difficult to use them if you are there for work.
The food is decent only during wedding seasons...
The selection of dishes is limited, as well as the quality.
They can have even two wedding on the same days, in that period regular guests of the hotel are confined in the space that is left.
Great value for you money anyways, I will come back.
I suggest the room service!

A hidden gem in the middle of no where, excellent service, food, wine is great too, staff is superb, outdoor and indoor atmostphere is perfect. This hotel is underrated, if you are ever in Lucera it is worth the drive. Alfredo is a part of the management staff and he is a one man show, truly excellent! We stayed for a week and enjoyed it very much.

Room Tip: All rooms are great, all on the main floor, truly worth a visit. Enjoy !
