When booking I was a bit concerned about the potential noise from the planes, as the airport is so close. We had no such problems.
The room was clean, the only objections I have are that the double-bed was made out of 2 1-person beds next to each other and that at the bathroom you had to watch out when taking a shower as the water was draining very slowly and you could easily flood the bathroom floor.
The food was very good, there was something new every day. There is also a section for vegetarians. It was a bit strange that there was NOTHING to drink at dinner, but the prices were decent.
WiFi was working ok in the room.
The bus-station is right in front of the hotel, and it only takes like 10 minutes to get to the centre of Palma. There are also many free parking places near the hotel if you want to rent a car.
The Palma Aquarium is a few minutes walk away from the hotel, and it is certainly worth a visit, especially if you are travelling with the kids.
At the pool there were signs informing you that you are not allowed to reserve sunbeds, but every day at 8 people started showing up to put their towels on chairs in order to reserve them. By 9:30 most of them were taken but there were only 2-3 persons actually at the pool. It is a bit frustrating that the hotel staff is not acting to stop this behaviour.

Room Tip: Upper floors with direct sea-view

Superb hotel for location, style, food, cleanliness, rooms, friendly staff ect......... The list is endless to be honest. We could not fault anything about the type and location of the hotel. Perfect for the beach and for visiting the main tourist attractions as a bus stop outside. 10/10 can almost guarantee we will be back at some point in the future.

Good location , near the beach and the bus station to Palma. Very clean and comfortable room . The towels were a bit used and the AC was working only when the room card was in so you could not let it on while going to dinner for exemple.
My room was on the 1 floor and it had a small terrace wich was great.
It was very difficult to have late check -out although there were rooms still availble on bookink.com.
The breakfast ant the dinner were ok.

Stayed at the Hotel Java for 4 nights following a med cruise, part of a bigger party of 6 couples. Very pleased with our choice of hotel, good location near to the beach and bars and restaurants of Playa de Palma and just a short 10-15 minute bus ride into the city centre of Palma. A great base. Hotel well kept, spotlessly clean, modern and bright public areas. Decent pool with plenty of sun beds and shade, no bunfight for sun beds either all very civilised. Clientele mainly German and French with a few British I’d say. Staff throughout friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet excellent, one of best I have had I would say. Lots of choice of hot and cold food served as a buffet. We didn’t try dinner but believe was very good with extensive buffet and very reasonably priced. Good sized room with sea view on 6th floor kept very clean and tidy. Air conditioned a little noisy but didn’t keep us awake and we needed it set on high due to very high temperatures. Good location a short stroll to the many bars and restaurants locally - some very good places to eat nearby and nice bars was pleasantly surprised by this little resort. Would recommend and would return as a good seaside base to see Palma and get out and about around Majorca. We took the bus to Puerto Portals from Palma very pretty little resort with marina and little beach, quite exclusive. We also took the train/tram to Puerto Soller a journey I hadn’t done for over 30 years, well worth the trip for beautiful views en route and to spend some time there.

Room Tip: Ask for a sea view on floors 6 or 7 for best views
