Stayed a week b & b here end of January. Allocated room 220, first-floor 1 bed apartment. Basic facilities but enough to get by. Overlooked pool and being south-facing balcony benefits from sun almost all day.
Breakfast was good, eggs cooked fresh, bacon, sausage, beans under heated lamps. Plenty of bread, jams, cold meats, cheese, fruit, buns, cakes, with hot and cold drinks from machines.
Bar serves 'Tropical' lager at 2.90 euros a pint. A walk of 3-4 minutes up the hill brings you to a large Lidl, open from 8.30am, where you can stock up on all your food and drink requirements.
Pool area is large with plenty of sunbeds and a lifeguard on constant watch, opening from around 10am until 5ish.
Quite a few steps up to hotel reception from street-level, but these can be avoided by taking the lift.
Bus-stop opposite the hotel takes you to the airport(only a handful of buses daily though) or to Costa Teguise, a resort the other side of the airport and just 3 euros each way.
This complex is similar to many here, quite basic and in need of updating but fine for a week's holiday.
If you have the chance to choose your room I would recommend being on the sunny side of the pool. Rooms 101-120(ground floor) and rooms 201-220(first floor) are perfect for sunbathing on the balcony from early morning to late afternoon.

Room Tip: Sunny side of pool for all-day balcony sunbathing. Rooms 101-120 or 201-220 fit the bill.

When booking see if you can get one of the upgraded rooms, ours in desperate need of refurbishment, cracked tiles on floor, rusty fittings, peeling paint on balcony, scruffy bathroom. Cleaned daily except Monday and Friday, no complaints about that. We had a north facing balcony so no sun at any time of the day. Flat screen TV but if you want to use it it’s about £3 a day. Safe use is €2.25 a day. Self catering so didn’t use the restaurant. Cold and very windy when we were there so didn’t use the pool but other people were. Quiet at night. About 150m from Lidl which was great, no need to pay over the odds at small supermarket when you arrive, Hyperdino just down the road too. Not too far to the beach front but uphill coming back, not a problem for most people.

I visited this hotel back in 2014 with my daughter and said I would maybe not return. However, my husband and I were desperate for a quick, cheap break so I suggested returning. I was very nervous as it was my hubby's first time.
On arriving we were allocated a room opposite where I was the last time and what a difference. The room was airy, clean and everything was in fine working order, however, as in other reviews the decor is a little dated.
The cleaners were in every other day with fresh towels and to empty bins etc.
Our balcony was pool facing so we had a nice view, it was very quiet also.
We didn't eat in the hotel because there are plenty of restaurants and bars just a 10 minute walk away.
All in all we had a fantastic stay (we had sun all week to!) so I can definitely say I would go back for a third visit.
You get what you pay for!

Stayed here as family of 4 (2A&2C). Not exactly in the heart of the town but a short 10/15 min walk down hill to the beach & and strip.HUGE shopping plaza 5 mins walk.

Hotel was good, like all basic ,decor across the board is dated but very clean. House keeping were only meant to drop in 3 days a wk but we were there for 11 nights and they defo called in 7/8 times and no prob with fresh towels every 2nd day.

We stayed half board. Brekki is standard and dinner was belly busting, eat as much as u want, not buffet, cooked to order!

Pool area
.Lifeguard all day
.kids pool sml but clean
.whirlpool.. very good but FREEZING

Washing machine and dryer on site

Entertainment was Blah! Only every 2nights. Better off staying on balcony with neighbours or heading down to old town (10 mins).

Lidl is 2 mins walk, perfect for S/C and fridge bits.

Hotel staff very friendly.
Location perfect for families looking to steer clear of rowdy night life.

Taxi from main strip to hotel average €3.50 "cheap as chips".

Will defo come back here.
