Visited 9th March for 2 weeks on an all inclusive basis. I contacted the hotel before arrival asking for a sunny afternoon room and got one. We found all the employees of the hotel really pleasant & friendly. Everywhere was very clean. We enjoyed the wide variety of food at all meal times & found the drinks both alcoholic & soft to be of a good standard, being AI we were also left a big bottle of water by the maid daily. Unfortunately after 6 days at the hotel the Spanish government put into force the lockdown rule-this did spoil the remainder of the holiday as we are not 'fly & flop' people, we like to be out & about walking/exploring which was not possible from Sunday 15th March - however a big 'hats off' to the Manager of the hotel who kept the sunbeds out until Tuesday morning and while they were all being stacked up if you were in a room with a big enough terrace/balcony the lads would carry sunbeds over for you to use on there. Also the pool bar stayed open its normal hours & the outside tables & chairs stayed put, just moved to a couple of metres apart-so you could still sit in comfort round the pool in the sunshine with a drink! The guests were not banished to their rooms like most other hotels were doing-they could only leave to eat & also other hotels didn't have a bar open during the day only for a short time in the evening while the restaurant was open & they also removed all reception/outside seating. So to summarise it didn't turn out to be the holiday we were looking forward to/wanted but a big Thank you to The Manager & staff for making the very best they could out of an awful situation. We will definitely revisit this lovely hotel in the future.xMore
