We have stayed in the Aquasuites Hotel two years in a row now and we are hoping for a hattrick this year ( and have not lost hope as of yet!- there are plenty more days in 2020!!) if our loyalty thus far to the hotel is not testament to the superb services they provide their customers enough, here are all the amazing things which we found noteworthy from our experiences so far.
RECEPTION:
Check in is made so easy for customers and you are greeted with a warm and friendly face every time ( and a complimentary glass of Cava!). Everything is explained to you clearly and smoothly which makes you feel at home from the very beginning of your stay.
ROOMS:
The rooms are very modern and immaculate. The bed itself is very spacious and so comfortable. The bathroom ensuite is very large and the showers are so enjoyable. The balcony is also roomy with a full set of table and chairs with an umbrella as well as a number of sunloungers.
FOOD:
The food and the dining experiences in this hotel are fabulous. We were half board residents which entitled us to breakfast and dinner included in our stay. Breakfast has both a fresh buffet of fruit etc and also made to order egg options, such as an omlette. The dinner menu changes daily and is always very fresh and seasonal. There are plenty of options so everyone is catered for. The evening meals can be taken in one of their two affiliated restaurants located in the old town; Sassis’ or Emma’s Cantina. We loved the experience and the food in Sassis’ and ate there a couple of the nights. The wait staff are just as friendly and attentive as the staff elsewhere in the hotel.
AMENITIES/LOCATION:
This hotel leaves you missing absolutely nothing. There are multiple swimming pools with an adult only jacuzzi which is a nice, luxurious touch and also a child only pool, so there is something for everyone. The TV and the fridge in the room are ideal, with the fridge being stocked free of charge at the start of your stay. The wifi works quickly and we experienced no issues with connectivity. The overall location is perfect. An 8 minute walk to the main strip is the perfect distance away from the busy nature of the area if you don't want it but is also not too far if you do! The beach is also here, a nice break from the pool that is not too far away. There are a number of supermarkets within a 5 minute walk. The airport is only a 10 minute taxi drive away (which is also cheap!). To walk to the old town it takes about 30 minutes and this is where Sassis’ and Emma’s Cantina are located. We found the walk to and from pleasant, especially after eating!
STAFF:
We found the staff the best thing about the hotel and the overall holiday experience. From the initial check in to the dining to the general encounters with staff around the hotel, there is a clear standard of training which is amazing to see. But, most importantly, the staff are all so nice and their true nature is very clear. They all seemed willing to help and genuinely interested to engage with everybody, which is not something you experience everyday. A special mention to the cleaning staff is needed! They were so obliging and friendly, not to mention that they do such a brilliant job! Geraldine looked after us for both holidays, two years in a row and ensured our experiences were the most enjoyable each time. She tends to everyone’s individual needs and nothing is an issue. Geraldine is clearly passionate about what she does which makes the world of a difference.
Overall, we cannot express how much we love the Aquasuites hotel enough. We cant wait to visit a third time and hope to see Geraldine and her phenomenal team in 2020!
