We have stayed in the Aquasuites Hotel two years in a row now and we are hoping for a hattrick this year ( and have not lost hope as of yet!- there are plenty more days in 2020!!) if our loyalty thus far to the hotel is not testament to the superb services they provide their customers enough, here are all the amazing things which we found noteworthy from our experiences so far.
RECEPTION:
Check in is made so easy for customers and you are greeted with a warm and friendly face every time ( and a complimentary glass of Cava!). Everything is explained to you clearly and smoothly which makes you feel at home from the very beginning of your stay.
ROOMS:
The rooms are very modern and immaculate. The bed itself is very spacious and so comfortable. The bathroom ensuite is very large and the showers are so enjoyable. The balcony is also roomy with a full set of table and chairs with an umbrella as well as a number of sunloungers.
FOOD:
The food and the dining experiences in this hotel are fabulous. We were half board residents which entitled us to breakfast and dinner included in our stay. Breakfast has both a fresh buffet of fruit etc and also made to order egg options, such as an omlette. The dinner menu changes daily and is always very fresh and seasonal. There are plenty of options so everyone is catered for. The evening meals can be taken in one of their two affiliated restaurants located in the old town; Sassis’ or Emma’s Cantina. We loved the experience and the food in Sassis’ and ate there a couple of the nights. The wait staff are just as friendly and attentive as the staff elsewhere in the hotel.
AMENITIES/LOCATION:
This hotel leaves you missing absolutely nothing. There are multiple swimming pools with an adult only jacuzzi which is a nice, luxurious touch and also a child only pool, so there is something for everyone. The TV and the fridge in the room are ideal, with the fridge being stocked free of charge at the start of your stay. The wifi works quickly and we experienced no issues with connectivity. The overall location is perfect. An 8 minute walk to the main strip is the perfect distance away from the busy nature of the area if you don't want it but is also not too far if you do! The beach is also here, a nice break from the pool that is not too far away. There are a number of supermarkets within a 5 minute walk. The airport is only a 10 minute taxi drive away (which is also cheap!). To walk to the old town it takes about 30 minutes and this is where Sassis’ and Emma’s Cantina are located. We found the walk to and from pleasant, especially after eating!
STAFF:
We found the staff the best thing about the hotel and the overall holiday experience. From the initial check in to the dining to the general encounters with staff around the hotel, there is a clear standard of training which is amazing to see. But, most importantly, the staff are all so nice and their true nature is very clear. They all seemed willing to help and genuinely interested to engage with everybody, which is not something you experience everyday. A special mention to the cleaning staff is needed! They were so obliging and friendly, not to mention that they do such a brilliant job! Geraldine looked after us for both holidays, two years in a row and ensured our experiences were the most enjoyable each time. She tends to everyone’s individual needs and nothing is an issue. Geraldine is clearly passionate about what she does which makes the world of a difference.
Overall, we cannot express how much we love the Aquasuites hotel enough. We cant wait to visit a third time and hope to see Geraldine and her phenomenal team in 2020!

We last arrived Thursday 12th March for a 10 day escape. 3 days into our holiday the hotel was in lock down.

We have holidayed at Aqua Suites 4/5 times before and despite the news of coronavirus we had no hesitation in travelling we knew from previous visits the hotel is first class.

Geraldine and her team were fantastic, they delivered top class service on every level. Despite the very difficult circumstances, the rooms were kept immaculate, the standard of food and choice delicious and all cooked fresh to order. We opted for the last night at Sassi before all closures on the island, again a lovely meal and superb service. You really cannot fault the level of effort to maintain such high standards. All the staff deserve great credit to stay at the top.

We rarely go back to the same hotel twice and we on 5th visit. As soon as the hotel opens we are on our way back.

Very best wishes to Geraldine and all the staff, you are all amazing!

We arrived on Saturday 14 and everything was normal. Woke up Sunday morning to find the island in lockdown.
Couldn’t have picked a better hotel to be locked down in.
The entire staff were brilliant and all went out of their way to ensure our stay was pleasurable and safe. Hotel spotlessly clean and food brilliant. Will definitely be back when things get back to normal.

Everything about this hotel and staff have been said in numerous reviews but I would just like to share our experience as the last guests in the hotel prior to covid 19 shutdown. This is to demonstrate exactly what to expect should you need any further evidence of how wonderful Geraldine and her team are.
This will come as no surprise to previous guests who like ourselves return over and over.
We were there for 2 weeks when on the Saturday evening we found out that the Spanish government had put a lockdown on the the resort allowing only supermarket and pharmacy open. That meant 7 days restriction to the hotel with no leaving unless to visit the above.
As you will no from previous reviews the room and food standard are exemplary and we felt very lucky that it was here that we were restricted to.
Despite the obvious worries for both the immediate and long term future EVERY member of the team carried on brilliantly and other than the daily dwindling numbers of guests nothing changed. Every day the same standard of food was provided with multiple choice. This was right through till breakfast on our final day even though there was only 6 of us.
The biggest surprise was that as we were not leaving till late afternoon the kitchen provided us with a massive packed lunch inc prepared rolls, fruit, yoghurt, cakes, ham cheese etc despite themselves leaving before we were due to leave.
The rules meant that only 1 person was allowed in a taxi and that would have meant 4 taxis for us however Amelia on reception sourced a 16 seater minibus which allowed the whole party to travel together to the airport.
During the lockdown period Geraldine allowed as much flexibility as could be applied without inviting unwanted police attention which was really appreciated by everyone.
It was really emotional leaving such a lovely place and such wonderful people who looked after everyone fantastically.
This review is not about the hotel which is exceptional and the cleanliness is second to none ( which I must say never once relaxed despite the dwindling numbers )
It is to hopefully demonstrate to anybody who has not stayed here to experience what a fantastic team aqua suites has.
I would just like to finish by saying a massive thank you to each and every one of Geraldine’s team and to say
WE WILL RETURN AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
WE WISH EVERYONE THE BEST AND KEEP SAFE
