I stayed with my wife and two children and we all loved the laid back atmosphere of this beautiful house and the ease of which you can get to all the attractions in the Drakensberg. A great couple are Ryk and Bea and we will definitely return on our next visit to this beautiful part of South Africa.

Ryk & Bea Becker were excellent hosts, very knowledgeable about the social history of the area and most helpful in my searches for local information regarding the Boer War. The house is a beautiful Edwardian villa in lovely gardens in a quiet part of the town. Harrismith itself is very central for sightseeing, near to the Drakensbergs, the military battlefields and well situated for touring the beautiful countryside.
A very restful stay - some nice restaurants nearby and all very reasonably priced.
My husband and I stayed for 2 nights as part of our Drakensberg touring holiday.We had a very nice stay at the View Bea and Ryk were very good hosts as were their delightful dogs.I would recommend this B&B. We also had an evening meal with the hosts which we enjoyed.
