We stayed one night en route from Jo'burg to central Drakensberg - wanting to break the journey. A party of three adults (parents plus grandma) and two children, the three upstairs bedrooms served us really well. The beds were very comfortable with attractive bed linen, each room unique but with an Edwardian theme. The whole house is decorated with fascinating antiques and memorabilia, and the garden provides a nice space for a refreshing cup of tea on arrival and stroll. Bea's hospitality was generous, accommodating and discreet. Her affectionate dog - Puzzle - was a real hit with our two young sons! I think the highlight for all of us, however, was probably breakfast - an extraordinary feast, absolutely delicious, elegantly served in a lovely dining room. Thanks very much indeed Bea for a wonderful stopover.More
