We stayed at Blenchi for three nights. We had a disappointing experience with our previous hotel at Willemstad so this was a big relief. We were welcomed so friendly and warm. The room is located at the side of the building, is very spacious and has a good working air conditioner! Pool is right outside the room, small but does the job. Room has a very comfortable bed, tv, and spacious bathroom. Water in the shower however is only one (we guess natural) temperature. I like a long, hot shower but that didn't really worked.
All the staff was really nice, they recognized us so all our drinks and food were automatically put on the room bill.
View is absolutely stunning! The owner was around a lot and at night there was someone taking watch, we guessed so no one uninvited would get to the hotel.
We highly recommend a rental car when you stay at Blenchi. We loved the west side of the Island and everything there is within a 20 minutes drive (beach Ca Abou, Kleine knip, grote knip, christoffel park, sheta boka and west punt).
When you stay at Blenchi we also recommend dinner at the Landhuis, but also at Jaanchies and Trio Penotti!
To the staff of Blenchi: thank you so much for the wonderful time we had!

17th century renovated mansion. Small 5 rooms, swimming poi and adjoining restaurant.

Room.
Our room was nice, clean and comfortable. Although there were problems with the air conditioning system, the staff did their utmost best to solve the problem. The problem unfortunately did persist and the owner and staff solved it nicely by inviting us back free of charge. A few weeks later I gave it a second try. Honestly I feel sorry for the staff as again we had a problem with this specific room's air conditioning. The owner showed up in the middle of the night and set us up in a perfect room.
The only reasons I give the room 4 stars instead of 5 is because of this history. I do give 5 stars for attempting to solve the problems.

Restaurant.
The breakfast, lunch and dinners were magnificent. No matter what you have ordered the food is well prepared and served to perfection. Complements to the chef.
The bar serves the best cocktails.

All by all. This is a great place to unwind or plan a romantic getaway.
Not many of these on curaçao with This quality.

Overall experience was okay.
However; the staff is inexperienced, booking was a mess. the lobby staff gave me some info via phone and another info via email. Once arrived turns out that we were booked but not with the special we asked for. we ordered breakfast for the next day and turns out one brekfast wasnt booked. they talk about sums and when you want to pay turns out some of those sums were in dollars. They dont tell you before hand.
the rooms are good and clean, there is AC, hpwever there are no blankets so it can get cold. you are only offered thin sheets.
the pool is small but clean and there is a nice view around the poolside, including hammocks to relax and watch sunsets or sunrises.
one negative thing about this hotel. they let you pay for their mistakes, they dont own up to them. we paid a bill given to us on the first day of our breakfast and upon checkout we are told it was the wrong bill and we needed to pay the difference. unprofessional. The room price was reasonable, not bad. although there was suposed to be free wifi, the wifi did not work our entire stay.

so i would say it is great for a short stay like a weekend to de-stress, that is if you dont let the bad service irritate you. enjoy the great view and the tranquility of the location. eat out at surrounding restaurants (for example landhuis Dokterstuin for local food) to avoid their pricey restaurant with a poor price quality and poor service.

Room Tip: the upperroom was spacious and had a great view

This colonial home was completely restored into a beautiful restaurant; I had the pleasure of eating dinner there on my last night in Curacao. I enjoyed the island so much I regret not going to Klein Santa Martha before!
Not only is the building restored to a new and amazing glory but the open feeling of the entire property is refreshing and stunning. There are multiple rooms at the landhuis for guests to stay as well as a wedding suite for those who wish to be married at this striking location. The restaurant is located at the front of the building with tables outside on the large terrace. While eating you have a view of Santa Martha Bay. In the evenings you can watch the sun set over the hills and enjoy the evening breeze. The staff are polite and soft spoken individuals which exude respect for others. As the brochure advertises fine dining, the menu solidifies that ad by offering a range of starters as well as main dishes and desserts that are associated with fine dining. The chef is hands down a very skills individual with an imagination and flare. As before I wish I had eaten here earlier on my trip as I would have enjoyed every single dish on the menu!!
