I am writing to provide feedback on our terrible experience at the Patio Lounge and Bar 10th Of October 2015 at about 5pm.
We decided to stop in to have a few evening beers to relax a bit and enjoy the atmosphere, after seeing your extensive range of advertised beers.
Your beverages are charged at a premium, and I have no problem with that, however if you’re going to expect guests to pay a premium price, a certain amount of service is usually expected.
As we tried to order from the waitress, we’d name a beer, she’d reply ‘I check’ , run off to the bar, come back ‘ Don’t have’ . Rinse and repeat a few more times, til we finally managed to order a beer that is in stock. Essentially she has no idea what’s available or out of stock, without running back to the bar. Completely apathetic and unapologetic.
We ordered a round of drinks….not halfway through our drinks, she returns and slaps the bill on the table…we reply we’re not even done with our drinks yet, and in fact would like to continue ordering more. Any waitress would take the hint, return to the cashier and keep the tab running, but no, she insisted we had to pay now, despite being one of only two tables in the entire lounge.
So we took the hint , paid the bill and left. Clearly our presence and business was interfering with her busy day ( there was only one other table in the entire bar), and she had other things to take care off apart from serving customers.
If you're charging a premium, please have a certain amount of service to go along with those prices.
