I had few time dining experience in this restaurant. The services and the food is very good. Most of the food choice is great, my husband like their lamb menu, I think most of their lamb are important from China according to the restaurant manager, however, we couldn’t identify. Anyway, the foods can’t get from others places. Its ambience also great a greater appetite to us.
If you would like to dine in here, please make early reservations especially during school holidays or public holidays, recommended 1/2 days in advances.

It's a private area and the decor for the restaurant makes it higher class than others. Definitely a choice if you like to entertain some business people or artists (given all the concerts going on). However, dont expect too much on the food side. Service wasn't good, not attentive enough, and perhaps use more chinese in explaining menu will help.

As a Silver Card Genting member, I booked a day earlier for lunch last Saturday for three (mum and wife), as tables were most often fully booked, whether for lunch or dinner. My family have been patronizing the Min Ren restaurant every time we visited Genting Highlands for many years even before the restaurant was moved to the present location. We have always been delighted with its famous lamb soup and lamb dishes, which if you do visit Genting Highlands, it is a must visit restaurant, besides the Imperial Rama restaurant (that serves Chinese Thai cuisine). It has been two years or so since we last patronize the restaurant, and we were to eager to order and savour the herbal lamb soup (RM22) and the yam papaya soup (RM15), besides the lamb curry (RM36). We ordered something new, the lamb ginger (RM43), and also ordered the four seasons vegetables (RM41). Our total bill came out to RM270.50, inclusive of 6% GST. Besides the price, we found the food having lost its oomph altogether, especially the lamb dishes, including the soup. What happened we wondered? Could it be because the lamb no longer comes from Xinjiang, Northern China but from Australia? Well, the vegetable dish tasted flat as well. We left the restaurant greatly disappointed; and lament perhaps the famous lamb cuisine restaurant has lost its direction or identity.

Enjoyed dinner here. Not your typical restaurants elsewhere like a market place without private/personal space. Reservation has to be made, if you don't wanna leave it to chance.
