We tried 3x to come to Il Cascinale... it was always fully booked of closed (Tuesday), but we finally made it.

Now we certainly understand... this is a great place for a family dinner, not over done, just good food and good service.

The pizza is also special, very thin crust.

Went here twice during our week in Montignoso. Had the fried calamares and scampi, pasta seafood, caprese sallad, fish of the day, pasta with scampi and pizzas for the kids and everything was superb. The service is excellent and very friendly!
I recommend everyone to book a table since it was fully booked the two night we were there! This restaurant is a definite "must go to" if you visit Massa / Montignoso

Great food. Lots to choose from. Great wine selection all in a family setting. Don’t expect any frills on the seating or lightning - but expect nice and friendly service and good food.
The kids loved it here.

On a hot day we stopped our car here for a quick lunch, but soon realized that it was more than a short stop. The place is good quality and well recommendable for anyone passing on the main road. We would have chosen pizza but they don't serve pizza before 7.30 PM. Instead we chose some of the other courses. My fried calamaries and scampi were accompanied by mixed vegetables and were very delicious. Unfortunately, I was driving the car, so I didn't have the chance to try a good local wine.

The apartment was well equipped, gardens and pool area well maintained and cleaned.

The owner and all the staff were so caring and accommodating.
