The staff are very friendly and the art is amazing, the rooms are also very nice.

The breakfast is quite frankly terrible, everything is prepared the night before and left out over night.

There is no restaurant, though the local cuisine is quite amazing.

The mini bar was not refilled once during my 6 night stay.

Internet was good and free.

Hotel offers car parking at 15 euros per night rate, though it only holds 4 cars and if one other car arrives after you then you can't exit until the cars in front are moved first. The access is some tiny small lane that is 'two way' that if you drive down and a pedestrian is walking then you can't get past. A scrape is near unavoidable.

On the whole, a positive experience. Our room was airy, luminous and it even had a window in the bathroom! We were kindly welcomed and led to our nice modern furnished room. The brook under the hotel was pleasantly gurgling, the air con was correctly set. However, there was a gap over the bed, where a modern piece of art should have been (as per brochure). A large, sad, blank space.
The hotel itself exhibits several artworks by contemporary artists, in the lobby and breakfast room, as well as in the corridors on every level. The is also an original marble rocking horse.
Breakfast was decent, the public car park a couple of minutes walk from the hotel, wi-fi good.
A question: why doesn't the complimentary city map show any of the main sights? No mention of the Cathedral, nor of the several important civil and religious buildings. We walked through Carrara as blindfolded. We managed to see something, but missed most of it. Bizarre.

Went on a business trip and shared a twin bedroom for three nights. First of all; the hotel is okay. But for having four stars it is nowhere near them.

The hotel interior is lacking a bit of character and the atmosphere is quite sterile.

The air condition didnt work in several rooms and it was very hot! I woke up every morning with a great thirst!
The staff only provided water bottles for one night.

The pressure in the showers is really low.

Breakfast is quite nice by south european standards. They offer fresh orange juice, mozzarella, salami croissants etc!

There are basically no facilities so it's not a good idea planning to spend too much time at the hotel.

There are no ironing available.

The hotel doesnt seem very concious about the environment as they clean the towels even though u havent left them on the floor.

It's an okay hotel. Spacious rooms and bathrooms but dont expect any "wow" feelings.

No way on Earth is this 4 star hotel, just a high priced B&B. The first appearance is good with a modern an clean reception and very good reception staff. The rooms however a little dissapointing. The air con not really working and cleaning obviously done in a hurry as it just gets flicked over. Bottled water, complimentary? only provided if they can be bothered. The breakfast was ok and the usual that you get everywhere in Italy. Internet as good as useless and keeps dropping out, I ended up logging in to the reception wifi as the room one did not work. I think the gangs of drunken noisy locals sat outside using the wifi do not help matters. My room only had 2 working power sockets so I guess the rest are just for decoration. The area itself is ok, right opposite is the Taras Bi pizzeria and bar which is well priced and sevice is from very pretty and friendly local girls. All around there are many eateries and bars and shops which is useful as the hotel has nothing. The roof garden is derelict and a large window has been left smashed an lying across a table where it obviously fell. There is no bar, no restaurant or food service and it can be quite noisy at night. Will recommend that our company do not book here again sorry as after a days work its not ideal, however for a base to sleep if out touring its probably ok.

Having relocated from Milan to Carrara on business, I was optimistic with the 4 star rating. I had to pay in full upfront. On arrival, after the hassle of finding somewhere to park on the
Street, check in was swift and easy. The decor and artwork gave a fancy feel to reception. The rooms are clean and basic. A large bed but think it's made from the local marble.
There was no tea or coffee facilities in the room but on reception there was a free machine. Another disappointment was there was no bar and no restaurant and definitely no room service, but there was plenty of local places around.
Also the sun terrace resembled a building site, broken glass from the windows.
Breakfast was ok but nothing wow wee.

120 euros per night was expensive for this hotel. Hilton outside of Milan was 100 euro per night. You decide.
