This was my second time visiting the Grand and I was greeted by name when I arrived at the hotel. The staff members are so kind and welcoming, and I immediately felt at home.

Upon entering the property, the commitment to a clean environment is immediately evident, and helps reassure visitors and staff members that their health and safety are a main priority.

I booked an ocean front room, which was spacious, immaculately clean, and well-appointed. Food options are fantastic and plentiful (I am a pescatarian and had more than enough options to choose from at each meal). The beach is beautiful and clean, and having multiple water sport options readily available is a plus.

The hotel provides everything you could ask for; however, the true highlight of this hotel is the staff. A special thank you to Barrington in reception, Judy, Camile, and Anthony at Port Maria, Martin and Duran for making sure I had everything I needed, Dwayne (sorry I missed you for that second jelly coconut), Lij for checking in and making sure everything was going well, G Money for the breakfast chats, Powell for making sure my sorrel was on point, and Momo at the gym at the Suites. Honestly, every single person is so kind and thoughtful, and I am grateful for each smile, each conversation, and each interaction.

I will be counting down the days until my next trip!

We have been going to Iberostar Montego bay for the past 11 years few times a year now. This was our first time to Grand.
It was absolutely a marvelous experience ! The hotel is very clean and spotless !
All the staff members were very friendly and welcoming ! Everyone were trying their best to accommodate the guests! Big thank you to all!
A huge shout out to chef Benjamin for a very tasty and fresh food every day, absolutely beautifully presented dishes in every restaurant , very nice , creative and amazing deserts!! It is great to find fish and vegetable dishes on the menu in every restaurant since we do not eat meat or shell fish. I wish there would be also vegetable soup available on all the menus as well if possible. All menus have great variety for all likings

Thank you Anthony for beautiful cheese platers on daily basis ! A huge thanks to manger Carlos who we have been meeting for the past 11 years on property: always very polite and welcoming offering the great service as soon as you get seated in the restaurant !

My only complain is that I sprained my ankle badly on the rock trying to get out from the sea. The rock is right by the security tower in front of the beach restaurant. It is not visible under water at all, although is very big. One can easily injure badly by running into it when trying to get out from the sea

Overall, we had a great time and we will definitely come back!

This was our third time back and all we can say is…..WOW. The entire staff at this resort deserve so much praise and recognition for making their guests feel like family. Everything from the pre-trip setup with Michele, check-in, the concierge service, the room, pools, beach and most importantly the FOOD is perfection. Our appreciation for the Grand cannot be measured with words.

My wife lost her airpods and everyone, including the security staff did everything they could to try and help find them, including looking through trash cans where our iphone was tracking the airpods. The following day, staff we never interacted with were aware of the lost airpods and inquired if we found them. Thank you to everyone for their genuine concern.

Some staff members who really stood out this trip were Chef Lorian, Judy at the Port Maria beachfront restaurant, Patrice at the Prestige Club and CC. We can’t forget our butlers Martin and Duran who also made sure we received our coconut jelly on the beach and the housekeeping staff were so kind and responsive to all our requests. We cannot wait to return home

Iberostar was just the break I needed. In the midst of covid they took extra care to ensure that the proper measures were being taken to prevent spread and also ensure safety of the guests. These measures were clearly visible. The food was excellent. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

Had a wonderful 3 night stay at this hotel the facilities and the pool and beach are lovely. There is a bit of work going on on one of the buildings but that didn’t affect my enjoyment. Everything is pretty quiet as you can imagine at the moment but it is necessary to book into whatever restaurant is open that evening. Service is pretty slow in most and a bit hit and miss but on our last night we had dinner in the restaurant on the beach which was by far my favourite. And we had an excellent waiter called Kenloy looking after us very well who couldn’t do enough for us. The servers on the beach were also great keeping us in drinks with a smile. Overall a great stay finished with a fantastic meal!
