I have been there twice, 2 weeks in totall. Food is poor and rooms are quite old fashioned- but for all the time really clean. Also lack of air conditioning is very painfull in summer time. People are very nice and helpfull.

I stayed only for a day as I was on a business in Butgstädt and the hotel is really good. It is modern, great food, good service and most importantly the rooms were warm and clean. The hotel has a free parking which was convenient for me. Overall this is a great hotel and if you are visiting Butgstädt I highly recommend it.
I recently stayed three nights in the Alte Spinnerei hotel in Burgstadt. I was impressed with the friendly and helpful service. Like many hotels in Germany, the rooms are basic with not a lot of high-end qualities. But, the room assigned to me was incredibly large and clean. The hotel served a typical German breakfast buffet, and the lobby bar/lounge was a lively place to view European championship foosball with colleagues after a long day. The hotel also provided a very nice meeting space for a large group. Hotel WIFI was free, but it was not always reliable or fast.
Spent only one night in this hotel on my business trip to Germany. As I love places with some history behind, I was quite amazed how the old spinning mill was restored into a modern hotel retaining the beauty of the old times. The room was small and simple but perfectly sufficient for what I needed. There is a parking lot behind the hotel. The buffet breakfast was very good, staff friendly and helpful, overall the service is great.
Good hotel. It has very big rooms. I never saw something like that :-) The restaurant offered delicious food. It was a kind of gourment food. I spend there two nights and was satisfied. The toilet and the bathroom are separated. That was not so good.
