We stayed here for 3 nights with my 1-year old and 4-year old. Everybody on the staff were exceptionally kind and patient with my children, as well as friendly and professional. Travelling with kids is always stressful, but they made us all feel welcome. They set up the beds in our room for our children, and even included a little stuffed animal to decorate the baby's bed!

The breakfast buffet is one of the best I've ever seen, and the dinners are also good. (Note, this is not a gourmet restaurant, but the food is simple but good. We're picky!)

The swimming area is excellent, and large enough that even when it's crowded you don't feel suffocated. The children's pool is set back slightly from the rest, so everybody can enjoy the experience "their" way (ie, with or without children!). We didn't visit the sauna area, and the other "GesundZeit" area was a nice-to-have: no children are allowed there, which is good, so it's really quiet and you can sit in a few different pools with various minerals/salts.

There's a pool bar, so you feel like you're in a tropical resort while swimming! And the panorama bar with a fireplace is perfect for an aperitif.

We also enjoyed visiting Bamberg and Bayreuth from the hotel, and the whole family loved the Automobile Museum in Fichtelberg.

We will definitely be going back!
