Managed by the Indian NSG forces, this temple is neat and very well maintained. One has to drive steep hill to reach this place and can view the best of Gangtok from the top. The spot is believed to be the halt of Lord Hanuman while carrying Sanjeevni to save Lord Lakshman's life.

The temple is situated at a beautiful location.Kanchenjunga range can be seen from the temple on a clear sky day.We had a good luck to eat Bhandara at the temple.the temple leaves you with a very warm and devotional feel.A must go to place if you are in Gangtok. It is said that Hanuman Ji stayed here for rest while searching for Sanjeevani booti for Lakshman. Its just 2 km from the check post for tsango lake and Nathula pas.
The view from the temple is better than from Tashi view point.

This temple as all would be aware, is being managed by Armed forces. Uniqueness if this temple is it's cleanliness, peace and height. However, the highlight of this temple is the viewpoint. We got a fair glimpse of Kanchenjunga, as there were clouds, but the viewpoint is probably the best point to see the snow capped mountains. A must visit place
