We had eaten lunch at this hotel on a previous visit to Pondicherry and it was high on our list of 'must returns' so we booked a table one evening during our holiday. The hotel is a beautiful old French colonial building with lots of old furniture and paintings.
We had a three course meal with options for each of the courses and the portions were more than generous. The price was around £25 for the two of us - a lot by Indian standards but a bargain internationally. We had delicious sea-food dishes that combined French and Indian influences.
It's a bit 'fussy' and 'fancy' but the food was great and I'd definitely return.
