could not fault the hotel at all, staff were very friendly and helpful.Rooms were clean and well equipped. were welcomed at receptiom with a glass of bubbly. helped to our room with our luggage, basket of fruit, bottle of the local gin and a pot of sweets and chocolate lollipops awaited us along with a selection of drinks in the fridge. well equipped garden, the plunge pool was quite cold but the weather was very hot so we braved it and once you were in it was ok. the little beach nearby was lovely.

Room Tip: we had a de luxe apartment, room 6006, with its own garden. it was amazing.

We spent a week at this lovely hotel.
On checking in we were given champagne & a glass of orange juice for our little girl. Great start to the holiday.

We got to the front of the block were our apartment was & the porter happened to be coming by at the time & was more than happy to help my husband out with our baggage.

The facilities are great as well & there are 2 large pool areas & one which was nearest our apartment had a little kiddies pool which our daughter loved as it had 2 water slides. The little playground was Aldo near by so we went most evenings to play, unfortunately not many things for small kids, however having said this was informed that the kids play room was open from 10am-10pm with schedule of events on certain times & days.
The play room had climbing frame with slide which was a hit with my daughter, loads of small seating area, small enclosed trampoline, as well as monitor & computer over the other side for older kids to play computer games. We wished we'd used it more during our stay.

The apartment was clean, cleaner came in everyday just to do general wipe down & clean of shower room, toilet, kitchenette, living room & terrace area.

One thing we thought was weird as we thought we'd seen there were 2 TV in either room is that there was only a TV in the main bedroom area & as we put our daughter to sleep in there this meant during the evenings we couldn't watch TV, which wasn't too bad as meant we talked to each other more & we also had our tablet & phones while we could use with the free Wi-Fi.

The kitchenette area was OK assuming you only want to make things like bacon sandwiches or just snack type food. We did make dinner twice but found it was easier just to eat out.
I took photo of what was in the cutlery drawer as that kind of tells you want sort of things they think you'd need. We went to the Chinese hypermarket in Mahon to get a peeler & food tongs (made it easier to turn food like bacon in the very small frying pan). Like I say functional for snack type food just not full on meal as no oven so we had to get creative.

The hairdryer in the shower room is surprising good. Although my daughter is more used to have baths in a bath tub the shower was a novelty which she liked.

Well for the not so good bits, hence the 4 instead of 5 stars.
On the first morning we woke up, made breakfast & was about to go sit on our terrace area when we noticed one of our chairs had gone missing, which we thought was cheeky as we had put some clothes on it to dry, which was moved onto the other chair.
We were on the ground floor nearest the juice bar area so thought someone must have come during the evening & borrowed it from there but we looked all around & couldn't see our missing chair. We reported it to reception & after explaining it again to maintenance guy we got another chair.
The next incident was we had 3 hand & 3 bath towels, but by the 3rd day we were reduced to 2 bath towels & 2 hand towels. Hand towels not so much an issue but having only 2 bath towels meant we took it in turns to share a bath towel with our daughter. I managed to catch up with the cleaner on the 2nd from last day to get an extra towel. They do change the towels every day though, but was just inconvenient to just have had the 2 for 3 people.

All in all we had a great time & was a beautiful place to visit.

Visited for a week, two adults, a 4 year old and a 2 year old. Had a ground floor apartment that overlooked the second pool. Excellent accommodation, very clean. Overlooked a sandy bay/cove, shallow waters excellent for the kids. Went self catering but ate in the buffet for dinner in the last night, this was very nice, great selection.
Would def recommend, we will be returning!

An excellent 4 star hotel. Very large buffet for breakfast and evening dinner. Very good location and excellent for walks. Small rocky coves and small sandy beaches very close. Very good local bus service up and down the coast, and the price is very good. Only 1:50 euro to the old capital.
There are six blocks of various accommodation to suit all tastes.

Room Tip: Go for a room in a quiet area, if you want total peace. We had block 2, 2nd floor over looking the garden areas. It was very good.

Wonderful environment, excellent for families of small children and the more mature traveller. Clean and inviting with everything needed in the apartment although I was placed on the first floor when the hotel had been advised of mobility issues. Staff very helpful and friendly. Ideal place for me but it was too far away from the majority of activities available on the island. Cuitadela market is well worth a visit and following comments of others I ate cove sa nacre and will highly recommend a visit.
