5 th time here with 2 of my clients and 2 staff. Rooms looking onto the pool, good view. Plenty of choice in the restaurant. Arrived at 9.30 pm no dinner provided but we were given a lunch voucher. A few discrepancies re. Shower chairs, hoists and adapted beds from le roc next door. On arrival had the neighbour from hell out shouting at us at 10 pm for making noise. Every night she was out shouting at us because 1 of the clients expresses himself by noise. We had reception phoning us and the security guard in our room. This hotel is supposed to be for people with certain needs think she needs to move to another hotel. Reception said they had bother with her before. I was given a row 1 day for playing my music at the pool quietly. This is the most boring hotel we have stayed in no music at pool , nothing really going on. Same entertainment has been going on for years nothing changes.

Not really suitable for children:
Yes, there are high chairs, yet at the reception they told me there are no activities for kids offered.
I asked three different people at the reception whether they have a babysitter on hand – they all had no clue. On my last day I met one of the ladies who work at the reception and she would have known a reliable babysitter.
Same with activities for kids: Nene, who currently entertains all the adults during the day, offers activities for kids every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday – I heard about this on our last day as well when she passed us and invited my daughter.
Hence, the gentlemen at the reception are not reliable or informative at all!
No toys in pool area, make sure you bring your own.
The evening shows often last until 11 pm, so you might have a hard time to get toddlers to bed and to get a rest yourself as there is no AC in the rooms which means you will prefer to leave the doors open in summer due to the heat.

Food:
The waiters in the restaurant/ buffet area are friendly, esp. with kids, but don't expect them to listen to you if you would like to exchange bread with gluten for gluten free bread – they might simply turn around and walk away on you, depending on how stressed they feel.
That said, the buffet for breakfast and dinner is usually good and changes daily according to the daily topic with both healthy and unhealthy options.

House-keeping:
It says on the info-sheet you get that bed linen is changed once a week. They are not very generous with towels. After two days I continuously only received one shower and one hand towel – my toddler didn't need any towels?!
In contrast to that they are very quick and helpful when you happen to have ants or alike in your room.

Usually travelling with a disabled person means that you have to compromise or feel that you are inconveniencing those who are more abled. Not here. The hotel is geared towards people in wheelchairs. You have a choice of rooms or apartments, and the apartments are a home from home. Plenty of space, a small kitchenette, and a balcony. Easily sleep 3 or 4. Equipment for a disabled person can be hired from a company next door to the hotel, as can transfers from the airport and excursions. The airport also has a team dedicated to helping disabled passengers
There are 3 pools, one heated to 32 C (you could almost boil an egg in it on hot days) and with two hoists to help disabed people in and out of it. A lifeguard is onsite from 9 - 6 every day.
If you are travelling without a disabled person, this probably isn't the place for you. The guests are usually older and have special needs. So the heated pool tends to be full of people being floated around rather than fast swimmers. In the same way, the after dinner entertainment is aimed at a more relaxed audience. But you will be made welcome here and the staff are friendly and often multi lingual. There is also an onsite therapy centre.
The down side is that you are expected to pay extra for wifi, the safe and the TV. Which is a bit of a rip off, seeing how much you pay for the room. The food is ok, rather than brilliant, much like the rest of Los Cristianos.
The beach is downhill, and Playa de las Vistas (the beach with assistance for disbaled swimmers) is 2 km away. But the town has taxis that can carry wheelchairs.Ask at your hotel or any taxi rank.
Overall, the perfect hotel if you are in a wheelchair.

The Mar y Soon as it all! My husband is a permanent wheelchair user unable to walk but here he was able to do so much. The whole place is geared towards people who are disabled, even down to higher tables in the dining room so the wheelchair goes underneath and he could actually sit at the table to eat! The pool was to die for 32 degrees and two hoists one with a chair the other with a sling. Lifeguard in position at all times who were so helpful. Other pools available too. Activities arranged to cover the day and evening. The hotel is suitable for children of all ages and disability. Equipment/assistance hire available. Great excursions with transport for wheelchair/able bodied people. Staff are very pleasant and helpful, also multi lingual.

We have stayed here 2 years running for our family holiday. Very accessible & suitable for all ages & all disabilities. Great staff & entertainment for the whole family. 2 big pools & a small shallow one for children. Hotel is a short walk to the beach downhill, leaving the small point to get back to the hotel is uphill. Quite difficult with manual wheelchairs. Lovely quiet area in Los Christianos, although the resort does have its fair share of bars for those evening out.
