We had ten nights here with our son and on the whole had a lovely time. The staff, food, entertainment and pool area were uniformly excellent, but the room we had (803) was a little tired, and could do with a new bathroom. Our sons room on the ground floor was nicer in that respect.
The constant daily flow of chocolates, water, and other gifts to our room was a pleasant surprise, even if some of them were a little strange - incense sticks, anyone?!
The air con in the hotel broke down on our last night making the room and the interior parts of the hotel very uncomfortable at times. Hopefully this was fixed the next day as suggested.
The area around the hotel does not match the hotel itself. In our view Los Cristianos was a bit too "Brit abroad" for us, with cheapness everywhere and constant hassling from restaurant marks trying to get you in to eat. The constant noise from the inter-island ferries intruded at first but like most things you get used to it.
We took a trip to Mount Teide which was well worth it, plus Jungle Land, an excellent little zoo.
On the whole a good holiday in a nice hotel, but not one of our best.More
