“Love this place, but honestly the service is so bad!”
Review of Nassau Beach Club

Nassau Beach Club
Description: The restaurant's menu is Mediterranean-Asian style and combines seafood as a specialty, while the other is Japanese Teppanyaki, boasting some of the freshest sushi and sashimi on the beach. Eat in the stylish surroundings of the restaurant, on the terrace overlooking the beach or even in the comfort of your sunbed. Prepare to have your expectations exceeded as befits Ibiza's only member of the prestigious 'World's Finest Clubs'. The tastefully elegant interior incorporating original chandeliers, stylish designer sofas, attractive mirrors and teak flooring offers the perfect surroundings for your day at the beach. Relax in the chill out room, meet friends in the cocktail bar or enjoy fine dining in the restaurant under the watchful eye of the Buddha statues.

We have been here every year to beachclub, but also eaten in restaurant in evenings, visited bar at night too. Probably our favourite place to spend a sunny day on the beach in the afternoon. Beautiful venue, great beach, some fantastic food, good music with DJs - we even buy the CD every year!

However, if you spend €100 just for your bed for 2, then add on your drinks and snacks for the day and then lunch, the least you could expect is one of the many waiters to notice when you want serving. Oh, and did I mention the extra 15% you'll pay for "service" on the beach! And we always sit up towards the restaurant on the beds at the back nearest the staff. each year gets more and more irritating to result in partly spoiling the experience for us. Maybe they should give you a whistle or a flare gun?! I noticed that some customers got great service, with the staff literally sprinting in and out to collect items for them. My wife pointed out these were for the obviously bigger spenders with the magnums of champagne, presumably a bigger tip might be expected. Money talks, as they say, but this leaves a slightly unpleasant taste in your mouth. Although a little better inside the restaurant, you would not describe it as attentive.

If they got the service right it would be 5 stars, as we really do love everything else here believe it or not!

Try the yellowfin tuna, Thai beef salad or the beef wok dish. All lovely. Sit in restaurant for lunch.

Nice place to cool down and have afternoon drinks while watching the sunset. Their food menu selection is also good for light snacks.

We came here last year and had a wonderful meal so we thought we would come back again.

Not great this time around. Service is very slow and sluggish. We walked into the restaurant and the staff looked at us and carried on with their polishing of glasses or folding of napkins. Was spotted by 3 or so staff as well but no one seemed interested in coming to serve us.

Once we had been acknowledged the waiter was uninterested in giving any kind of service.

Food took an age to come. When it did it was just OK. The sweets have changed from last year and was poor I didn't eat mine and the waiter just said it was strange that I didn't like it.

Won't bother with here again if you are paying well over £115 euros for a meal you expect a lot more.

Train your staff up a bit if you want people to come back!

This review is mainly for the the sun loungers and beach food. We came 5 days for relaxation on the beach. Nassau beach has the best sun loungers (go for the big beds) and provide plenty of umbrellas if needed on a hot summer day (comparing to blue marlin where I was told, they can not guarantee an umbrella for a big bed). We liked the relaxed vibe, the music and the scene. We had lunch several times on our big beds, food was good and rather expensive. The service was very attentive and our pre-bookings for sunloungers worked out well. In summer times and especially on weekends, book well ahead as Nassau beach is very popular. I had a look at Nassau tanit, the beach club next to Nassau beach. While also with great sunloungers and big beds, Nassau beach looked a tad more fancy and upscale th nassau tanit.
The beach is not the nicest on the island, but has some good beach restaurants and beach partys. Nassau beach is an upscale beach club, a big bed (VIP beed) costs 100 Euro per day.
