So the plane touched down at kos at 20:30 on 17/6/2015. By 20:45 (I kid not 15 minutes later) we were knocking on the door at the Paraschos (cabin luggage only) to be warmly greeted by Connie, more on that later. Fast forward to last night arrive Stansted 23:15 1hr 15 mins later we clear through customs, why its take so long is beyond me VERY frustrating.
Back to Paraschos. The cab cost 15 euro from airport took 5 - 10 mins and was easy, no waiting for transfers etc. I holidayed with my other half we are both well travelled so are able to give an objective view having stayed in a fair few places worldwide.
Connie and her family (including dad and his little dog) own and run the Paraschos studios 16 newly refurbished 2 bed studio apartments which feature air con, in room safes, working effective showers all of which is up to date and really nice to stay in. The studios which are on 2 levels face out onto one of the biggest pools in the area it also has a small plunge pool too. There are plenty of sunbeds and due to people using the beach it seemed like it belonged to us at times! Though the studios are modern there is a nice touch of a small 'Greek' type table and 2 chairs in the rooms, there is a fridge, plenty of storage space and...So the plane touched down at kos at 20:30 on 17/6/2015. Connie and her family are really nice people, nothing is too much trouble and they are keen to help if you want to know anything.
We thought it was a really nice gesture when 'dad' offered us some freshly picked peaches that he grows there (along with lemons, limes, plums and other fruit) it had also been his 55th wedding anniversary and he was very generous in sharing a cake with us.
The Paraschos is a quiet, tranquil place but only a 5 minute walk from the local supermarket, restaurants and harbour area I am not sure this review does it justice but I would recommend the Paraschos to everyone.More
