Really enjoyed our stay, lovely villa with all mod cons to make it home from home. (although a microwave would have made it super convenient)
No 9 didn't really get much sun on veranda/balcony, maybe time of year which is fine as it keeps it cooler. A few steps out however, you can lie in sun on the pool surround if you wish to!
Nice and secure with lockable front door to private complex.
As others have said, it is a bit of a hike along road with no pavements into town, or further to beach but keep your wits about you and step aside when cars etc are coming and it's fine.
Taxi's are quick to arrive if you want a lift either way at fixed price of 6 Euro.
My only question is when the developers designed and built the complex, they didn't build a simple path with lighting down the side of it to the main road?
You have to follow a rough concrete 'road' along past the Villa's, down three dodgy steps and walk across an unlit field to get the road.
Once you have negotiated this a couple of times you kind of get used to it, but just feel it is a simple and relatively inexpensive omission.
Apart from that, had a great time in Kalamaki, weather was great for October and bar/restaurant staff are generally really friendly and accommodating.More
