I'm not quite sure how this hotel even managed to get 3 stars! The first room I was given was damp and cold when I put the AC on warm to heat up the room a little insects similar to cockroaches fell out of the AC and were crawling in and out. I called reception and was told nobody could come to help because he had to stay and man the reception, luckily I moved myself to another room which was slightly better. The golf course looked nice but other facilities were lacking in quality, the gym was shocking and the restaurant was no better. I was staying as part of a group and so the food included in the price was very basic we were not allowed to order from the normal menu. Almost every day the menu was the same and I'm not sure Mercadona pasta and tomato frito count as Pasta Napolitana as they called it. Staff on reception were friendly but those working in the restaurant were quite abrupt. Breakfast was also disappointing, the granola was stale and food was left to go cold. Such a shame considering where the hotel it is and has potential be a great hotel considering the grounds. Do not stay here!!

Maintaining the installation is definitely not a priority for this hotel that would need a good refresh, paint is falling out, azulejos missing...
No light at night to find your bungalow. Wifi not functioning and walls so thin you can ear your neighbor having his morning shower.
We were lucky enough to stay only one night, should be avoided if you expect to stay more.

Stayed here for 5 nights as we were visiting Gibraltar a few times (15 mins by car) and Malaga (90 mins by car).

The Good -

1) the staff were lovely although very few were fluent in English (I know that's my problem not theirs) they were very warm and friendly......thank heavens for google translate
2) good size pool and reasonably priced drinks
3) quiet location, not much within walking distance (a hire car is needed)
4) free WiFi and parking
5) air con in room worked
6) breakfast was very good with a wide selection including full cooked breakfast and continental

The bad -

1) hygiene standards are not a priority at this hotel, the room was dirty (especially the toilet) the beds were uncomfortable with poor quality mattresses and the pool was full of dead and dying wasps
2) the dinner menu (we were half board) was extremely limited and lacked any variety or imagination.
3) tv in room only had Spanish speaking channels
4) take a torch with you (walking around the grounds at night with very dim lighting is an accident waiting to happen).

in summary we wouldn't stay again although we liked the staff the hotel wasn't good enough to warrant a 3 star rating never mind the advertised 4 stars (don't be misled by the sales people).

it was cheap and you get what you pay for..............!!!
if you do decide to stay here make sure you are fully up to date with your vaccinations and know the location of the nearest Pharmacy.

Totally indecent ! Dirt, dirt, dirt, dirt, and dirt. The location is great but hotel is crap. It don't deserve any star. It is what we call in Spanish (quiero pero no puedo) mean I want but I can't. I beleive owner has nothing to do in Hotel industry. And I rather beleive he has no idea about how an hotel has to be managed and maintained. Pity and it doesn't deserve at all the place where it is located.

Just home from a brilliant stay here. The kids my husband and I loved it. The apartment was beautiful, large and spotless. The aircon was a big plus as it cooled the whole place. Had a one bedroom apartment and 2 beds in the sitting room and still had plenty of room. The balcony was huge too. We had full board but we were able to keep snacks in the kitchen in the apartment as it had a fridge. Can't speak more highly about the lovely staff. The kids club staff were great and so good with the kids. They loved the face painting at night. Then there was the amazing restaurant staff. Particularly Asees(?) and Roxanne. My son is only 3 and was constantly asking them their names and they were fab with him and so patient. The only faults I could find with our stay was the buffet could do with some more meat/fish free choices. Having said that the staff were very accommodating when we would ask for things but to have a selection would be nice and maybe labels on some of the salads. Also the public bathrooms by the pool weren't maintained and seemed to be over flowing quiet a lot but this didn't affect us much as our apartment was near the pool. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable holiday for us and we hope to get back next year.
