Stayed here for 3 night with family. Clean & tidy, Great helpful staff. Kids loved the pool and spa area. underground car park. The only down fall the noise because it is on the highway and no house keeping seem to have to clean and dry you own towels. We enjoyed our stay.

We booked a last minute gold coast getaway. I normally stay in holiday parks which were all booked out, so I picked this holiday apartment as it was very reasonably priced ($130 a night for a 2 bedroom apartment) and had vacancies.

We stayed in unit #10. This had two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with two singles, and two full bathrooms, a washing machine, dishwasher, aircon and fully equipped kitchen. It was clean and well maintained. Our balcony looked over the swimming pool and spa. We had an undercover carspace as well.

The only issues I had were that my bedroom faced onto the gold coast highway and this was noisy when the windows were opened, so we had to keep them closed. It wasn't hot enough to test out the air conditioner, so I'm not sure whether it would have been hot in summer, but it was fine for April. The other issue was that our neighbours on both sides were chain smoking on their balconies, which meant the smoke was drifting into our balcony and unit for most of the day which was really off-putting. The rules unfortunately did allow smoking on balconies. Next time I will be sure to ask about this before booking, as I would prefer to stay in a place that is completely smoke-free.

The beach was only a block away, surfers paradise a short drive away and the theme parks about a 15 minute drive, so the location was perfect for our gold coast adventure.

Overall it was good value for money.

We stayed in Santa Fe apartments, a group of 6 on a 3 room apartment. Carpets dirty, and stains everywhere, kitchen dirty with a terrible smell coming from the dish washing machine full of mold and green spots at the drain filter. Air conditioners condensing so much water, leaking and mold due to the lack of cleaning (filters). The worst was at night time when all the bugs and insects (cockroaches) came out of the fridge and washing machine. toilet sliding doors did not work. cutlery, dishes etc etc so dirty, the only way to use it is passed on boiled water. the list is big enough to never ever comeback to that place. Noise terrible, windows are not double glassed.

Room tip: do not book this place.

Tom P, Manager at Santa Fe Apartments, responded to this reviewResponded 14 January 2015

I don't believe this review to be a genuine, I have had no bookings by a Robert S during January and don't believe this review is truthful and is motivated by something other than an accurate review. As everyone can see this review is completely out of character with the rest of our reviews

I stayed in Santa Fe with my husband and cousins. It was the 6 of us, so we got the penthouse.
As we got into the room, I was simply wowed by the space of the place. It was so spacious. It was a 2 floored apartment. There were 2 rooms on the first floor, with a kitchen and a living room.
The top floor is a huge space with a queen sized bed, a bathroom. It even had a huge wardrobe with full length mirrors.
We enjoyed our stay throughout as it felt like our own apartment.
Santa Fe is closer to movie world, dream world and sea world.
It was about 5-7 km away from surfers paradise. The easier way to commute would be a cab and we were glad that the manager helped us book a cab.

Would definitely stay in this apartment again.

Our groups of 6 stayed at Santa Fe apartment from 5-11 October 2014.

Our initial impressions upon entering the apartment was simply 'wow'!

Apartment was huge! 2 floors with 3 bedrooms. Very cosy and homely feel. The distance between Surfers and the apartment was roughly about 5-7km. Attempted to walk but was too far.

Manager Tom was super helpful. We pre booked tickets via him thru email conversation. He was very patient and answered all our queries even to the extend of helping us book for cabs.

Over-all a splendid stay. I will definitely re recommend and return if opportunity rises.
