Its a really quite hotel so close to most crowded road of Zakyntos, just 300m from Laganas bar area.
Rooms are clean and art deco
Try rooms with private pool
Try also restaurant “Eucalyptos” in pool area of hotel, with special traditional cuisine

This was our first visit to Zante and we were delighted with the hotel. Small and friendly sums it up perfectly. Rooms are comfortable and well furnished. We upgraded to a room with its own pool....what a treat that was! Food was generally very good, but vegetarian main courses at dinner were often pasta,so a little more imagination please chef! The pool area was quiet and clean with none, yes NONE of the towels on sun beds nonsense. Plenty of sun beds for everyone.
If you have any mobility issues there is no lift and stairs lead down to the pool area. Also access to the beach is a ten minute walk with either a steep descent down stairs through beach bars (Sabbia, Harbour House) or a 400m wade through the sea.
We loved the quiet and friendly nature of this hotel and are looking to go again in September. It’s great but shhhhh, don’t tell everyone!

Room Tip: Book a room with a pool.

Very welcoming when we arrived at the hotel. The owner gave us some homemade lemonade which was delicious and very welcome. Our room was beautiful and had lovely views. The bathroom looked great - the only complaint was the height of the toilet - could have done with a child’s step up !! The swimming pool and jacuzzi were wonderful. The sun beds NEVER had towels on them before they were actually used. There were plenty of sun beds. I enjoyed the food - it was all very tasty not a massive choice like you get at the huge hotels that are part of a chain where there must be a lot of waste - but that was not the sort of hotel we were looking for. The hotel tries to be as eco friendly as possible - we were even given a tote bag so we didn’t have to use plastic bags if we bought anything. The staff were friendly and helpful and all seemed happy to be there. We had a tour round the farm by the owner and were impressed with the produce . We tried the ripe fruit and veg - I had no idea that figs could be so delicious. The hotel owners like to give back to the community and make generous contributions to local organisations. If We go back to Zante We would definitely stay here

Just returned after a week at this lovely hotel, the staff make you feel very welcome, the pool is so clean you could drink the water! Great tour of the farm given by the lovely owner & the food is outstanding...they really need to publish a recipe book. Feeling very relaxed.

First visit to the Castelli and hopefully not the last , the whole experience was of relaxation and very friendly staff , from
the moment we entered and met by the lovely Irene and a welcoming glass of fresh lemonade to the warm send off from
the owner. We booked a swim up room and were given room g07 ,upon entering we realised that we were right to have gone for the option the bed had a very comfortable mattress also there was free air con included , the safety deposit box had a charge of 20 euro per week which I felt was a little steep , tv had the usual couple of channels in English, sky news and bbc world , the hairdryer was of a good standard and fitted by the dressing table . The half board was also of good quality and plenty to chose from , 7.30 am to 10 for breakfast and 7.30pm to 9.30 for the evening meal . All in all a great choice and will definitely return in the near future , glad we chose the swim up room and it is well worth the extra .
