Stayed on the 27th floor (27F) for just under 2 weeks in late October. Before I go on I must say that if you're after luxury modern accommodation then Beach Haven may not be for you. The old adage you get for what you pay for somewhat applies here. So when making your booking ask if it is a renovated apartment.
The one we stayed in was un renovated which was fine by us. The terrific views more than made up for it. I guess the main criticism would be that the beds weren't that great, you would think the owners of the apartment would spend a little to update furniture and beds.
The pools (inside and out) were well utilised, kids had a ball. Can't beat the position and the staff were attentive and helpful (even gave us a later checkout for free). We'll stay here again next year and probably come back regularly in the future.

One last thing, the noise in the Broadbeach area seems to travel quite easily, music can be quite loud, didn't bother us but might bother some.

I would have given Beach Haven a good review if our trip had not been marred by ridiculously noisy renovations which made it impossible to relax and enjoy our apartment during the day. We are in the middle of a heat wave, so my family and I prefer to visit the beach and pools in the morning and afternoon and spend the middle part of the day relaxing in our apartment. Unfortunately this has not been possible at beach Haven due to the noise of workmen and power tools which go on for hours. We all have thumping headaches and can't think straight as a result of the noise - hardly a relaxing break. We were given no indication that this would be an issue. These apartments are expensive and visitors should be able to enjoy them to the fullest. We will not be back.

We have just arrived back in New Zealand after our second stay at Beach Haven (10 glorious days).
We were initially hesitant when we learnt that we had been allocated a D apartment (22D) as last year we had been in an A apartment BUT, when we saw the apartment and the view - WOW!!!
Can't wait to go back there again, the location is simply the best, staff are helpful and friendly AND (if I haven't already said) the location is tops.
Close to the Oasis shopping centre, restaurants and close to all amenities (including the beach).
Lookout for great deals on booking.com

Room tip: All apartments have views but best are A and D apartments especially above 15th floor

We are a family of four that stated in 27F for a week.
Apartment was very spacious with good views, nice pools & location. Staff were pleasant.
We felt the apartment was a bit tired, especially the bathrooms. Both vanities were in a very poor state. Also quite a few of the kitchen cupboard doors were loose. Some of the drawers in the bedrooms wouldn't open and were very dusty inside. Simple maintenance/cleaning issues really.
We left a list of these issues so hopefully they will be fixed.
While these issues didn't spoil our holiday, we would definitely recommend requesting a refurbished apartment.

Room tip: Ask for a refurbished apartment.

Fabulous location. Close to shopping malls, restaurants, beach and transport. Our unit was very dated and could have done with a spring clean but I understand from other guests that some units are more up to date than others and you need to ask for one of those when you book. That said it was a good size and had everything we needed. Including a marvellous view of the ocean. Staff were very friendly.

Only big problem was the noise from rubbish trucks in streets below starting at 5.30 am and continuing until around wake time at 7 am off and on. The car parks were quite small for large vehicles. Wifi a little psoriatic but is free so bonus.

Room tip: Ask for ocean view that is updated if that's your preference.
