Delicious food and good service. Good wine list. I'd strongly recommend the 'barreado'. Even not being a great fan of meat, it was just delicious!! We loved!! Would not recomend the fish: oily and salty. The shrimps are also not worthy. Anyway, once you have a house's special as 'barreado' you should definitly go for it!!

Thank Laura A

We had lunch in this place while visiting the town. I think it would be a good place to visit if you have kids as the staff were friendly and fun. Most notable of these is the bizarre banana man who walks around encouraging customers to buy more and drink his banana cashaça (not recommended) although some of the other variations are nice. The place is clearly fully dependent on the lunchtime tourists coming in off the morning train and as a result have to sell as much as they can in that short space of time as is evident by the fact they don't allow you to share one persons portion of barreado between two. The barreado was good and the palm heart salad was huge, considering its price.

Good food, large portions, the service was good and all our requests were fulfilled fast. I recommend get there early and get a table on the balcony at the top floor, so you'll get a nice view of the river.

Nice inside, lots of fun and humor. Barreado may be one of the better ones but guess I don't like barreado - imagine mixing wallpaper paste with Italian beef making a gruel so thick it you can turn the bowl upside down and it stays put. Easily serves two, even three people. Seafood plate was very unexceptional.

Barreado is the typical dish from Parana seaside, particularly Morretes area. And at Casarao you eat it as it has been done at some local grandma flavour.
Absolutely delicious, spices at correct level and very good meat.
Restaurant is located at downtown on the historical area.
Also if you want to take home and prepare a delicious party, this is the place to get it.
