We first ate here as a 'drop in' and although we had a short wait the food was well worth it - fish and chips and belly of pork. We enjoyed it so much that we returned the following evening, this time booking and were given a table with sea views. The food was again delicious, rib-eye and lemon and garlic chicken. The staff are delightful, very friendly and efficient. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

Four have us have just returned from having a Sunday carvery and can honestly say it was a great experience. Got a warm welcome as soon as we arrived and from then on were made to feel at home by all the staff. Food was excellent and plentiful, so much so that we couldn't manage dessert though there was plenty of choice on the menu. Will hopefully back for a pub meal later in the week.

Didn’t have a reservation but staff managed to fit us in. Really friendly place staff were lovely and pub was warm and welcoming. Roast was okay, not the best quality we’ve had but it did the job and would happily return if passing.

Booked here for a birthday lunchtime meal with family including a toddler and had a lovely time, quick service and seated right next to the window. Beautiful views out over Walcott/bacton beach. Ordered from the 2 courses for £12 menu which was very good value. Food was served in quick time and nice & hot. Tastiest liver & very succulent meat in the pie, the garlic bread was amazing! Desserts were large portions and super tasty.
Toilets were basic but clean.
If I could of changed anything would of been the burgers contained quite large pieces of onion which the toddler didn’t particularly like. Perhaps smaller onion pieces. Other than that it was lovely & will definitely return.
