We took our family there for the afternoon. This is a great free attraction in the city. The group ranged from 10-60, a very broad age range. This about a total of 5 miles of trails - easy difficulty. Nice little canteen for a snack and some few animals around the park. Capibara, peacocks, small monkey - kind of like a lemur were abundant.
Small Laguna where you can rent paddle boats - very reasonable at 7 reales per person.
Super clean bathrooms!
I went to the park during a break of a business trip. I wasn't sure what to expect, but for sure I wasn't expecting what I found.
The park's nature is involving and you forget you are in the middle of a city and the animal life in there was amazing.
Also this seemed like a good place for a family day. There is a big lake in the center of the park where you can ride a pedal boat.
This is a place to go enjoy the scenery in a wonderful city. I lived in Maringa for a few months and spent a good number of leisure time in this park.
The forest reserve maintained from the initial layout of the city of Maringá is now known as Parque do Ingá. Parque do Ingá is a nice place for a walk, especially in the morning or in the afternoon but it's a piece of forest, so it's fresh ("cold") all day. Besides, to take photos is also a good thing, once the park has amazing trees and animals (wild ones - do not touch and/or feed them), like common marmosets, lizards, and a lot of different birds and other species. The park doesn't have maintenance as it should, however, this is gradually changing. The return of the paddle boat is a good example. But there is a canopy tour that still deactivated, unfortunately. Parque do Ingá is a place for everyone, of any age! Relaxing, quiet (far from the children's places hehehe), and beautiful, the park is a nice place to pay a visit, whether for a walk, or to relax, or for a picnic..... This park is one of the parks that ensure the city of Maingá the title of one of the greenest cities in the world!!!
Its a nice park close to downtown. Lots of trees, marked track for those whomlike to keep, track of distance
There are so many options for good picture in this parque!! They have live animals (wild, please don't touch or feed!) for the kids to see! They have some small monkeys called Sagu, as well as other animals. There are many trails. There are places to take pics with the family/kids. There's a smaller park within this one that's Japanese themed (Maringá is a sister-city to a Japanese city!). Very beautiful and a good, easy walk!
No animals (dogs) allowed, no bikes, and no skates
