My travel companion had stayed here previously so I looked forward to the stay at her recommendation.
The hotel in furnished with antiques and has character The hosts are very welcoming and did their best to assist us with hot water which we required during the night. They actually went out of their way to ensure we were .comfortable.
The location is great for day trips up to the hill top town of Assisi as well as to walk into the town below. The bus to the hill top town is just 500 metres away from this charming B&B
All the local restaurants are within easy walking distance as well as the big cathedral
Very good breakfast in a sunny bright breakfast room with an outdoor patio area..

Room Tip: Rooms upstairs have balconies with sitting areas outside.

We generally have a week here every year and 2017 was no exception.
The hotel is situated only 5 minutes from the centre and is nice and quiet.
If you are travelling by car there is ample car parking, and 2minutes off the main road. If you are using the train it is a 15 min walk and if you are flying in by Ryanair its a 30 Euro taxi ride that takes only 10 minutes.
As ever the owners can't do enough for you, checking trip information, booking restaurants, etc.
The rooms are spacious, appointed in a typical Italian way and have air conditioning. If you pre book ask for either room 21 or 24 and you will benefit from a huge veranda, offering the chance to sun bathe or just relax and read a book.
The beds are very comfortable, the bedding clean and changed regularly as is the bathroom linen.
Breakfast offers ham, cheese, rolls, bread, serial, fruit and of course pastries to die for. More than enough to set you up for the day.
If you are looking for a busy hotel with a swimming pool and evening entertainment, this is not for you. If you want a local typical hotel this is the place.

Room Tip: Rooms 21 and 24 have a huge balcony.

stayed here for 2 nights nov 2016...walking distance to Santa Maria degli Angeli,
train station and bus to go to the town of Assisi. When taking the bus, recommended to
get off at the last stop on top of the hill and walk down thru the various churches,(i.e Basilica di Sanra Chiara(St. Clare) Temple of Minerva, till you reach the grand Basilica of St. Francis.
Breakfast is okay....but near the cathedral(SMdAngeli) has the best gelato!!

From the moment we walked in, the owners were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel itself is lovely. Our room opened to an amazing balcony with views of the basilica. A glass of local wine on the balcony made for such a beautiful afternoon. Only strange thing is the shower is tiny! But it didn't matter. The time we have spent here is one of the best holidays of our lives.

This hotel is within walking distance from the train station, and to the bus station that takes you up to Assisi. The rooms are beautifully furnished, spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet is plentiful with croissants, bread, cheese, cold cuts, jam, honey, fruit and pastries, cappuccino, coffee, juice, etc. The building is charming. The hosting couple is very friendly and helpful.
