We spotted this place driving through Passignano Sul Trasimeno on a Tuesday lunchtime and thought it looked interesting. We were in for a spectacularly unexpected treat! The food was worthy of a two michelin star restaurant. I had the red shrimp carpaccio with pine nuts and strawberries which was exquisite, followed by risotto with zucchini flowers, burrata and lobster which came with a full half lobster - delicious. My husband had the tuna tartare with fennel and apple also delicious followed by branzino with spinach cream. Outstanding food! With a bottle of wine, water and coffees all for 80 euro!!

Great place to have lunch or dinner with the view over the lake. Food is great. Probably one of the best Carpaccio do Tonno I've had in Italy. Special sauces you wouldn't expect.

We were really looking forward to this evening meal to celebrate with our daughter before she returned to London; our party was five people. Our choice of the restaurant was based on the seafood/fish menu and what seemed to be unusual and verging on fine dining options. Unfortunately, though edible and well presented the food was not exceptional or exciting. It seemed to us that the restaurant tried hard to project itself as high end with fancy table dressing and ware, but made a big mistake by restricting the taking of orders to the 'Maitre' as this inevitably kept at least half the tables waiting for over 30 minutes to order (in our case 45 minutes). This was compounded by the fact that the dinner sitting did not open until 8pm and one person (the Maitre) was taking orders from approx 15 tables which all sat down at pretty much the same time. It was very annoying. In our view the restaurant should lighten up and modernise. If you want a showy restaurant with reasonable food then fine, if you are expecting extraordinary seafood then you will be disappointed.

Sophisticated fish restaurant with friendly service. Ceviche of sea bass followed by an excellent prawn risotto. Good wine list and competitive prices.
