This is a small sandy beach right in the centre of town just off the Main Street . This sandy strip is popular ,but always allows room for all and even a broad walk for disabled . There are no facilities but because the shops restaurants and bars back along it there is plenty of places to stop and eat with toilets . The ferries come and go and pass what only seems feet away is great to watch and when the Fred Olsen Catamaran does it turn to back into the port the tildal wave gives the kids on the beach a great sport with the wash that covers everyone on the beach .
