Perfect location for a relaxing safe holiday for adults and children alike. We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa which had all the essentials amenities it was like being home from home. We enjoyed the garden tour and our guest also found the red mountain tour very informative with Magelena (not sure how to spell it) and the views were breathtaking and well worth the trek. Look forward to returning very soon.

Been here several times and cannot fault it. (Apart from lack of attention to rules of the pool by the life guard). Accomodation is excellent, as are the staff. Restaurant is good, but nothing fancy. If you want posh food, you need to walk for twenty minutes.

As a diamond gold member it was a treat to find a resort that actually valued the members and were not left feeling we were just another guest. This was a most welcoming resort and all of the staff showed the highest level of professionalism whilst remaining friendly and approachable. We arrived early at 11.03 am and were told our room was not yet ready, but if we wanted to get a drink and something to eat then they would let us know as soon as it was ready. By 12.15 the receptionist (Stina) came and found us to say the room was ready when we were.
To call the accommodation a room is an understatement. The 2 bedroom bungalow had everything you would need and the option of the large 8 litre bottle of water in the apartment for only 3 euros was a definite saver. Our apartment (15A) overlooked the pools and having the sunbeds and parasol on the veranda meant when we wanted a swim we just had to walk a very short distance.
The on site restaurant,La Vista is a diamond on this Diamond resort. tony and all of his staff were welcoming and we enjoyed an excellent range of meals from Breakfasts to evening meals and the options of the evening entertainment on some nights was a welcome bonus. I would particularly mention the guitarist on the Saturday evening who despite only a small number of people was a wonderful performer.
When we left on Tuesday it was like leaving a whole new bunch of friends. This is probably the best Diamond resort we have stayed in and this is due to the staff and management who went out of their way to make it feel like home. Will we return I would say yes.

The staff at Jardines del Sol are amazing, so friendly and welcoming, both in reception and in the La Vista restaurant / bar. Borja greeted us as valued customers and gave us all the info we could have wished for. Anthony, Melanie, Tracey and Valerie in the bar are fabulous, creating a lovely atmosphere.

Apartments: we had a two bed / two bath which was super for us (2 adults and 1 child). Plenty of space in the lounge and well equipped kitchen. Dishcloths, liquid, tea towels, dishwasher tabs, bin liners, ice cube trays, clothes pegs, iron all provided. We brought washing machine tabs. Fridge really spacious with plenty of room for provisions, although there’s not a huge amount of cupboard space. Beds were especially comfortable and air con in bedrooms and lounge worked well although it wasn’t always necessary given the breeze outside. Reasonable wardrobe & drawer space with only criticism here being there is nowhere long enough to hang ankle length dresses. Master en suite had a bath with shower over, but the mineral content makes the water slightly yellow so a bath wasn’t an attractive option! Cleaning schedule was excellent and clearly explained, with eco-friendly emphasis on minimising unnecessary washing. TV had BBC1, BBC2, BBC3 & ITV. Outside seating very nice, with two sun beds alongside the table and six chairs. Check out is 10am, €10 an hour to extend until 12pm, and there’s a luggage store and shower room you can use, towels also provided. WiFi at €8 a day is a bit steep.

Complex: large enough that there’s an atmosphere and people to meet, small enough that there’s no shortage of sun beds and it’s safe for children to explore. Bar / restaurant is beside the pool so you can eat in the shade and kids can continue playing if they choose. There is a lifeguard on duty monitoring everyone (no lilos or large inflatables in big pool, may only be used in smaller pool if it’s quiet). Staff were always helpful, booking trips, giving advice, providing directions. Very accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs with ramps everywhere and specially adapted apartments available with drive up parking spots. You need your key to enter the complex from the street, making it safe, although actually we felt safe throughout the whole stay, it’s very family friendly.

La Vista: super to have this on site facility which does everything from drinks & ice cream up to full meals. Besides eating in you can also arrange take away. They also do beach pack ups and a morning bakery service. The TV was on for key sports events during our stay (the final stages of the World Cup) but otherwise switched off which suited us well. Salads were our favourite, pizzas also good.

Location: with a child in tow it’s 15-20 minutes to walk to the centre. It’s a huge bonus that there is a taxi rank right outside the complex, and it costs €3-4 to get to the centre or Marina Rubicon. The only time we really had to wait a while was Saturday morning as it’s market day. 10 min walk to Aqualava water park or 15 min to Playa Flamingo. It’s a quiet location with no aircraft noise and nothing to keep you awake at night. Remember to pack a sweater for the windy evenings (temp drops after 9pm).

We would definitely recommend Jardines (or “Har-deen-es” as the Spanish pronounce it) Del Sol and wouldn’t hesitate to book a return visit, it’s wonderful.

Bungalows are lovely with everything you need for a self catering holiday.
Huge rooms, two bathrooms, large terrace with sunbeds-perfect for family of five!
Swimming pool area is great, and there are plenty of sun loungers.
The grounds and extremely well kept and interesting to stroll around.
The negative is fact that complex is situated on a busy dual carriageway and day time traffic noise /fumes are intrusive, so my advice is: request bungalow as possible away from the road if you are aware of noise.
Points for improvement, also, would be to reduce/remove the very high costs for wi-fi.
