Cannot fault the accommodation. Comfortable furniture and beds; superbly equipped kitchen. Patio areas both sides of accommodation mean one is able to sit out in the sun at any time of the day. About 10 minute walk from Marina Rubicon with superb restaurants; another 10 minutes to Playa Blanca both along the boardwalk. Short walk to nearest supermarket. Very quick response to my initial enquiry from the owner, Joanne, who was very helpful in providing useful information e.g. transfers, cycle hire etc. to ensure our first trip to Lanzarote went smoothly. We were very sorry to leave Casa Aguilera and really hope to return at some time in the future.

This is a well equipt accommodation with plenty of room for six people. It's a lovely walk to the Marina along a broad pathway which is just perfect for children to run free on as it's completely pedestrianised. The Marina itself is really nice with lots of restaurants. The beach is pasted the Marina and whilst it's quite a walk it's well worth a visit. Playa Blanca has lots of shops and restaurants too but we liked the Marina best. There is a good supermarket if you walk the opposite way from the Villa. It's not far at all and sells everything you would need. I would certainly recommend this holiday rental.

Stayed here for one week in March. Villa beautifully appointed, kitchen fully equipped, bedrooms good size with comfortable beds. The villa was spotless, lovely outside space both at front and behind villa. Five minute walk to marina.. Swimming pool is a good size. Would recommend to anyone.

We had a pleasant stay at the property. It had lovely outdoor areas, nice kitchen and bathroom. It could do with having more towels as I prefer clean towels every other day. Very close to the Marina with a nice promenade.
We have just arrived home after a wonderful stay in Casa Aguilera. The property was spotlessly clean well equipped the showers were powerful and the water always hot. The bedrooms were very spacious lots of storage space and the beds very comfortable. The tv and dvd selection was excellent. The complex was very peaceful I think there was only 3/4 other properties occupied and we had the pool to ourselves. The house is approx 10 minute walk to the marina rubican area where you will find restaurants and a mini supermarket on a lovely coastal walkway which goes all the way to the ferry port the walk to the main playa blanca strip is approx 25 minutes where there are many more restaurants and shops etc and the beach playa dorada is here also. This beach was lovely and calm water so clear you can see the bed below and some fish! lovely safe beach for children to swim. If you like cycling there are plenty of bike hire shops we chose magma bikes just beside the rubican aparthotel in the marina area for €11 per day we cycled for two days which was great. In the mornings you can head off on the coastal walkway for a walk or jog which we did every morning and the views of the sea and other islands were stunning. The papagayo beach is about 25 mins walk on the opposite direction of the marina over rough terrain (this walk not suitable for young kids) but the reward is the totally unspoilt papagayo beach. I have been to lanzarote about four times and hand on heart would come back to Playa Blanca its the nicest of all the resorts on the island. The area is very clean and tidy very pretty and peaceful. You dont have people annoying you on the beach to buy things or people on the streets trying to get you into restaurants. There are some beautiful hotels in the area which one can meander around or perhaps a spa treatment?. If you have young kids the Princessa Yaiza Hotel just opposite the beach run a kids club (kiko club) for 2 adults and 2 kids its €24 for the day from 10am-5.30 the children can use all the facilities and they do an activity with them for 2 hours the adults must stay on site while they do this but parents can relax on the sun loungers or go for a swim in the pool. There is also tennis /soccer/basketball courts on site which can be used separately or with the childs club day extra charge may apply. If you like water parks visit the Aqua Lava water park if you are not driving its a long walk so I would advise get the bus or a taxi for about €3.50. The water park has slides for the teens adults/ a beach and a young kiddies water park too. Fee is €20 per adult €14 for a child. There are shower facilities baby changing units and a cafe on the park. This price is for the whole day from 10am until 5pm. I would like to thank Joanne for her assistance with booking this accommodation and for the beach toys and beach towels she left for us it was a lovely touch. The next time we visit lanzarote I will only come back to Playa Blanca and stay at this property it was really lovely. Regards Fiona
