Perfect food and lower costs compared to places on the sea front. The steak is their speciality of course flambéd. We went back twice as it was so good. Also perfect flambé bananas for desert which the very nice guy cooks for you. Loved it.

We were out looking for a restaurant on our first night when we came across Cervantes which was buzzing & the food looked great.
Luckily a table of four were just leaving as we arrived without a booking.
It is furnished in a traditional Spanish style and had tables inside and out the front.
There was a chef based at the front grilling meats & flambé desserts which also added to the atmosphere and he created fantastic quality dishes. Highly recommend the fillet steaks, they melted in ones mouth and were reasonably priced.
Service was very good with friendly effecient staff.
We ate here twice in our weeks holiday as so good.

We visited on the strength of some great reviews on trip advisor and a recommendation from friends so think on this occasion we have caught them on an off day. It was 6pm and accept this is an in between time so we were the only customers. My husband ordered prawn cocktail and sirloin steak with peppercorn sauce. He declared both to be very good even though his steak came as 2 slices and on the thin side but the peppercorn sauce was delicious. I ordered tuna and tomato salad which was plentiful but tasteless. For mains I ordered a grilled sirloin steak. When it arrived it was two very thin pieces of steak which hardly looked like any sirloin steak I’ve ever had. There was a spoonful of vegetables at best and some very nice home made chips which we both agreed were the best part of the meal. With a bottle of the house wine the bill came to €48. We normally eat on the sea front and it would have to be a very special restaurant to entice us away from the beautiful views. On this occasion Cervantes wasn't it.

This is the 4th time I have used this restaurant when I have travelled to Playa Blanca but the first dining as a family.

The service was extremely good as always and despite the fact we hadn’t been in a year we were remembered and fondly greeted.

We ordered 3 fillet steaks and a spaghetti bolognese for my 3 year old. As usual we were not disappointed - all three steaks were cooked to perfection and melted in the mouth - the bolognese portion was large for my 3 year old but was that good she cleared the plate ! Praise indeed ! They really did go the extra mile with the children.

The atmosphere was very relaxed and it was a excellent dining experience - we will be back

Had passed a couple of times and had not really noticed the place. We were out for a nice stroll to find a bottle of Tanqueray gin (as I had ran out lol) when we decided a grab a bite to eat while on the road, my better half decided on here for some lunch. Good choice, service good, food excellent even though it was just a couple of light snacks that included some fantastic home made chips!! Will be going back for a flambé steak as the cooking station was well set up. Well worth a visit and well done to all there! .
