Great location, and good food. Although chicken was brought out raw and had to be brought back everything else was nice and staff were as helpful as could be in such a situation!

Good place for drinks in the centre of the marina. Quick service by friendly staff and reasonably priced. Worth a try

One bar is based on the furthest part of the harbour and offers English food such as the traditional full English breakfast as well as local cuisine, it’s formed like a lighthouse and the staff are friendly and helpful a lovely place to sit and watch the harbour activity while sampling some local well cooked dishes

Worth a visit

My wife and I visited this bar when we were last here 4 years ago so as we walked out to it we wondered if it had changed. We should not have worried.

We had lunch there sitting right next to the channel watching the boasts come in and go out of the harbour. Our lunch was amazing and had a couple of dishes which were exceptional. They would not have been out of place in a 4 star restaurant. The one we thought was quite unique was a dish that consisted of Canarian potatoes, heaped and covered in cheese with smoked salmon draped around the dish covering the mound of potatoes. I had a salad and this as washed down with a couple of fine glasses of white wine.

The total cost of the meal was €22.50 which we thought was very good value for money. This bar is well worth a visit.

I only ever visit here as a last port of call for the evening, a great spot to have a final couple of drinks and look out into the inky blackness of the night and take in the peacefulness of my surrounds. It’s never too busy but there’ll always be a couple of fellow souls who’ve had the same idea say here and there, who obviously also get it. A few boat folk, the occasional other couple looking slightly worse for wear. The cocktails are actually surprisingly good and the place just offers a totally different vibe to anywhere else in Marina Rubicon.
