Pleasantly surprised by Amaralis!! Great room, bit dated but large and spotless. Food average but always found something to eat. Plenty of sun beds available even in later morning. Easy walk to bars, shops and beautiful beach. Happy to recommend.

we came here 19th august for 2 weeks all inclusive, myself,my mom,my 14 year old daughter, and 12 year old son, when we arrived didn't know what to expect, reception area was quite small, but nice, check in was fine, nice friendly staff,no problems at all.On way to our room (212) we weren't that impressed with the dark dinghy corridors,so expected the worst as we got to our room, well, we were very surprised with the room very large, plenty of room,kitchen/bathroom,bedroom,and large living room, only thing is we found a few hairs on the floor scattered, but swept up myself, our view was nice too,but only buildings to see,and quite noisy, esp on a night time, but didn't bother us.pool area was lovely,no problem getting a sun bed, kids loved the pool,we could take inflatables in,wasn't told not allowed,we went to zoomarine first week, and waterpark second week, both were great,we had no problem with food plenty of choice, could do with more deserts though as all cake, but nice. My daughter has come back with ear infection though, not sure if from pool,or waterpark. we wouldn't return back to this hotel purely because of its location if you have walking difficulties, then i really wouldn't recommend this hotel,as its all uphill to the strip, then down 70+ steps to the beach, was a real struggle for my mom.But the beach is beautiful, probably one of the nicest ive ever been to.Not alot to do on the evening for my children, apart from walk round the shops, and go and have a few drinks, but overall we still enjoyed our holiday, and cant fault the staff here,

The hotel was a great place to stay for me and my family there was me my wife and my two children one 12 and one 7. All the staff were amazing and very helpfull my son has autism but all the staff took this on board and was great with him and made sure they said hello to him and even a high five which he loves to do. Any info about the local area like about the beach or where to visit they where full of helpfull hints.the rooms where also kept extremely clean they where cleaned every day with fresh towls every 2 days and fresh sheets once a week. The food was good a great choice as we was all inclusive especially saturday night bbq night. Would like to give a special thanks to hugo, ricardo, neca, manuel, jose, lorezo and the young girl on the pool bar (sorry forgot your name) they where all brilliant and made our stay even better.

We took our two grand children (8 and 14) in August 2017 on a self catering basis. We were really impressed with the room which had two bedrooms, a large dining/living area which had a fulls size sofa, sofa bed and armchair complete with free aircon, bathroom with shower and bath and separate kitchen with all equipment required. We were in the corner overlooking the pool on one side and looking towards the coast on the other. Both sides had balconies which meant you got the sun most of the day. Pool area was great with a bar if you wanted to buy drinks or snacks. The real bonus is that the pool area doesn't open until 9 am so there is no need to get up early to grab a bed. If you were there at 9am there was no problem getting a bed but later on there was sometimes occasions when there were no beds available but you can always put a towel on the grassed area. This could be solved by providing more beds and I can't understand why the hotel doesn't do this as there is enough space. Please was clean and even though we were only on self catering the maid came every day to clean, refresh towels and changed the bedding every few days. It was so good we rebooked for next year as soon as we returned. Another thing to bare in mind is that this area of Portugal is relatively cheap to eat out/buy food out so self catering gives you the ability to try different places and vary your meals. That being said the all inclusive meals looked very good.

Room Tip: Ask for poolside as its a better view and low down so you can use stairs if you are able
