The communal areas of this hotel are fine - clean and well maintained. The pool area is a decent size with the addition of some nice garden areas, although a couple of days of my stay it was difficult to get a sun lounger.
The rooms (or mine at least) could do with modernising, although it was clean with a nice view of the hotel gardens and the sea. The air con unit was very dated and a bit noisy and the TV only has local Portuguese channels.
I found the staff not overly friendly but all were polite enough.
The breakfast is poor, but there are places nearby to get a half decent one.
The main selling point of this hotel is the location, leave via the back gate, turn left and you’re at the start of the Praia Da Rocha strip and a 5 min walk from the excellent beach.
Overall if it’s location you’re after and you’re not too fussed about a decent breakfast and all the mod cons in your room I would recommend this hotel.More
