We had a most wonderful stay at this gem, Villa Ferrario, near Lake Garda in Italy. The rooms were immaculate and the whole place smelled like a bouquet of flowers! We went with two other couples and we felt as if we owned the place. The owners, Tomaso and Giovanni, were very friendly and provided us with a delicious breakfast out in the garden each morning. After sightseeing in the area, it was a pleasure to come back "home" and relax in the afternoon. Verona is only a half hour drive from the Villa and there are many quaint towns to visit in the immediate area. I've never written a review before, but felt compelled to pass on the good word
about Villa Ferrario.

Villa Ferrario is a gem tucked above Garda. Its roots as a working farm are preserved and transformed as a place to relax and unwind. We used it as a base for some day tripping along Lake Garda. You need a car, but it's worth the effort.

Villa Ferrario is a new offering in the Garda area - and we were excited to be among the first visitors to this beautiful "bed and breakfast." Brothers Tomaso and Giovanni thought of our every need from our arrival to our departure and have created attractively appointed rooms with views of the garden (formerly a farm when it began in 1750) and one charming room with a sloped ceiling which faced the road. Family antiques accented the decor, and framed sheet music/magazine covers are exceptional throughout. In bustling Lake Garda, this is a quiet refuge and the German/Italian cemetery (a vestige from WWII) runs up to the edge of the property (worth of a visit!) We were minutes from many activities in the area. Although why anyone would want to leave the "breakfast area and patio" is beyond us! There is a wine tasting room, and a garden made to linger. We will return! Luanne and Steve Unks, Parker, Colorado USA

Room Tip: You really can't go wrong!
