Staying at the Borgo for one night was a real pleasure. We whish our stay would have been for a couple of more days. The hospitality and nice staff was fantastic. Nice welcoming and offering to help with nearby restaurant reservation. The location is very beautiful in the hillside among olive trees near the sea. The building are very new and the decoration modern and stylish and of high quality. The apartment had two levels on at the basement level. The lower level has still daylight and felt like a proper living space. The place was very clean.

We did stay end of April for four nights and had a wonderful time! The apartements are huge and offer a fully equiped kitchen as well as a terrace where we could enjoy the sunset. The hosts are very friendly and giving great advice if you want to explore the region. In a short walk you can reach a beautyful little beach and enjoy the sea. We will definetely come back!

We've expected something completely different after reading their beautiful homepage and very good reviews (especially at 'booking').
In reality our 'Juniorsuite with sea view' (125€ per night for two) was an old-fashioned two-room apartment with a spartan equipped kitchen and a shady space in front.
(Yes, if you stood up you could see a small piece of sea... )
Included in the price was breakfast, that means four items per person chosen the evening before. Anything else is paid extra. (Meaning one coffee= one item.)
I never saw something like this before.
Of course no information about it online or after reservation.
Worst of all: The unattentive and uninformed staff at the so-called reception.
They don't even know what they are offering online:
Information about 'Torre Salsa' beach? Or about their own 'organic garden'?
Not at all. We only got the usual brochure of the region (what we already had picked up at the Tourist Info in Agrigento). That's it.
Didn't join the so-called 'aperitivo'/ wine tasting (like anybody else) invited by loud 'Madonna' tunes...
Bad luck as well they sent the information about check-in (only possible after 4:30 pm) by 'WhatsApp' only some hours before our arrival. As foreigners on holiday we hadn't
constant internet connection so we didn't get it- and waited...
No excuse later by anyone!
As I mentioned before our experience is completely different from the reviews of other guests. In the beginning I doubted it was the same place.
Maybe the management has changed? Or lost interest in taking care of their guests? Or maybe they don't like gay couples at all?
We were very dissapointed.

This place was one of the highlights of our trip! Beautiful oasis in the countryside, we arrived in the afternoon after a swim at Scala dei Turchi about 15mins drive away and were shown to a beautiful room with high ceilings, big bathroom and private outdoor cabana (where we were served personal breakfast the following morning for €5pp). From 6pm we were served aperitivo (pictured) on the terrace with local Sicilian wine (€3 per glass). It was such a stunning spot, we rejected our initial idea of going to watch sunset at Scala dei Turchi and stayed on the rooftop terrace and watched from there.

Can't say enough great stuff about this place, GO THERE! We would have happily stayed longer if we could, very relaxing. You will need a car tho!!

Enjoy!!

The view was stunning, receptionist were helpful, friendly and went the extra step to make us feel at home.

Very acquaint, peacful and panoramic place.

The beach (which is within walking distance) offered crystal clear waters, nice sands and a panoramic view.

One needs a car as the neighbouring village (which is also worth visiting) is about 10 minutes drive.

We liked this place so much that we would like to visit again.
