Hotel Capo Campolato is a mix of hotel rooms and apartments - the apartments have a bedroom and a kitchen/diner plus bathroom and a semi-private patio area. As far as I can tell, all rooms have views of the sea, gardens and (if it's clear) Etna.
The apartments are modest but well enough equipped, they are clean and if you need, say, a kettle then the front of house staff will happily loan you one.The bed is very comfortable and the aircon works just fine (and not too noisy either)
You will need a car as it's, um, a bit of a way from anywhere.
The facilities are nice, the grounds are lovely and the staff, particularly Alessandro and Guiseppe on reception, were brilliant.
I think I'd go again.
