The room was clean, comfortable, full of local charm and well equipped. The grounds are gorgeous and the owners are very hospitable, knowledgeable of the area and responsive to any requests. I felt like familia! We will be staying again on our next trip.

Stayed at Il Limoneto for just five nights and managed to see and do a great deal. Fantastic location, and great views across to Mount Etna and the sea. Came with my father who had visited 20 years ago - and we were welcomed back like old friends. Fabrizio and his parents were delighted to see my father again. Farmhouse is rather difficult to locate so strongly recommend coming with a sat nav. Wouldn't want to find it at night with just a map...

We checked in yesterday and found this this place is very nice and relaxing after a stressful drive. The farmhouse located on the hillside and has a wonderful view to the Mediterranean Sea. On the other side of the farmhouse is the Mt Etna. One can enjoy the view of Etna through the Lemon trees. The place smells like fresh lemons and the terrace is very nice to sit, relax and enjoy a sunny day. The owner recommended us a fish restaurant which is located 2.5 km away from our place. It is in Santa Tecla and the price for a nice dinner at the seaside is nothing(paid 50euros) for two and we had more than we could eat.
I recommend everyone to stay here if you are planning to visit Catania or Etna. The rooms have kitchens and you are free to pick the fruits to consume them. There is also a large grill if you'd like to grill. One thing could be better and that is to have some more kitchen utensils or supplies(olive oil, sugar, etc). Overall a place worth seeing and staying.

I can just recommend to stay at Limoneto. We spent here 4 nights and wanted to stay longer. The farm is just fabulous. Good location, nice quiet accomodation, lemons everywehere and Fabrizio, the owner, is very friendly and helpful. We loved the silence, the nature, the breakfast and we´d like to stay at il Limoneto next time again.

My husband & I spent 9 glorious days in our own private villa with incredible views of Mt Etna & the Ionian Sea . Fabrizio & his family were wonderful hosts! We have already booked for next year! The scent in the air from the lemon trees was amazing! The wifi was the only downside as we had to either sit on top of the fence, or walk back to the entrance to get a signal.
